Author's POV
Things were now a lot better at the Kim's.
Mrs Kim is now more acceptable towards his sons' choices. Taehyung and Seokjin are now more closer to their parents. Though there's still awkwardness in the air at their house but things were better than before.
Taehyung took a few days leave from his school to spend more time at his house
And Seokjin stayed at the Kim's residence for a while.
It was kind of weird how they have to get warmed up with their own parents.
They took small yet meaningful steps to improve their bond like, they had all meals together unlike in the past where the brothers had their meals together up in their rooms while their parents were mostly out.
They shared their childhood stories and daily happenings with their parents. It was something they both yearned to do.
While they both seemed to enjoyed the time they spend at their house, there were two certain ravenettes getting impatient to meet with their respective partners.
At the school
“It's almost been a wee—”
“NOT AGAIN KOOK, FOR GOD'S SAKE!” Sooyeon scolded the poor boy who was just trying to say how much he misses his gorgeous boyfriend.
“But I am really missing him, we haven't even texted each other ” Jungkook whined.
Instant groans could be heard from the others.
“Are you aware that it's the fifteenth time you have complained about it in the past half an hour?” Yoongi commented. “Yeah, you are not the only one who is missing him, I'm also missing my bestie but that doesn't mean the only thing I'll do is whine about how much I miss him. You act like a lovesick puppy ” Jimin spoke. “I agree ” Yoongi nodded. “You both shouldn't be the one saying that especially when you both act like the same when you spend 0.001 sec away from each other. ” Hoseok pointed out. “Phew! At least someone is on my side. Thanks hyung. ” Jungkook said.
“All I'm saying is, we all miss him but we know that he's fine and finally happy that he got spend time with his family so you should also be happy for him. ” Sooyeon explained.
Jungkook thought for a moment before nodding.
Time skip
Sooyeon was taking a stroll around the river side when she spotted a familiar figure.
She increased her speed and approached the man.
“Bogum! ” she called out grabbing the said man's attention.
“Sooyeon?” he asked, confused.
“What are you doing here and more importantly why did you approached me? ” he asked. Out of all the people, she was the last one that Bogum would expect to approach him.
“I just wanted to thank you.” she said looking everywhere but at him
“For what? ”
“For helping us out in that Saerim's situation ” she said.
“Ah! For that? There's no need to thank me. After everything I have ever done to you and your friends, this is the least I could do to compensate. ” he explained. Then silence engulfed them, it was an awkward silence. None of them knew what to say or do next. Finally Bogum spoke “Does Hoseok knows about you speaking to me. I mean is he fine with it? ”
Sooyeon chuckled at it. “Yes he's completely fine with it. In fact he was the one who suggested that I should at least thank you once and try to have a decent conversation with you. ” she informed.
