Marriage proposal+Beauty under the moon

Cangse Sanren gasped at Madam Lan's proposal. Yes,she knew how much Madam Lan loved her son but she didn't expect a marriage proposal.

She was about to say something when Madam Lan spoke"Cangse jie,I am not forcing you to say yes. The choice completely depends on you and especially it depends on Wuxian. I wouldn't want to force something upon him which he does not wants"

Cangse Sanren smiled at that "A-liu,I really like Wangji. I have no problem with their marriage but,A-ying's opinion still matters. I need to talk to him about this. I will let you know his answer."

Madam Lan smiled"Okay A-jie"

Madam Yu looked at the two and then spoke"you both do know right that our Wangji already has feelings for A-xian?"

"Yes yes I do. Wangji himself didn't tell me but let's say I just figured it out by myself"Madam Lan said

"How did you figure it out tho?Not to be rude but he barely shows any expression or emotions" Cangse Sanren said confused

"A-se how can you not notice? Wangji's ear goes bright red whenever they even have the minimum contact with eachother. For example,that one time when all the kids came to our Lotus Pier and A-xian suddenly pulled Wangji in the lake and he came out all drenched in water with his ear all bright red"
Madam Yu explained laughing slightly at the end recalling the old memories.

"Yes,and also that one time in Yunmeng markets when Wuxian held A-zhan's hand and dragged him to the stalls,I am so sure I saw his ear go red"Madam Lan added

"Well,they were kids at that time. How do you know Wangji has feelings for A-xian now?" Cangse Sanren asked still not believing

"They call each other with their birth names. And you know when someone gets that permission.And it's a special case cause my younger son doesn't usually let's someone call him by his birth name"
Madam Lan said casually

"HUH?!!?"Cangse Sanren said all shocked

"Wow,I didn't even notice these things." she finally said

"Well,you know you are dense and dumb and I am sure A-xian's going be to same."Madam Yu said

"Heyy! Don't bad mouth my son" Cangse Sanren pouted

"Not bad mouthing A-jie, she is just stating facts"Madam Lan said

Madam Yu then looked at the sky and the said"It is getting quite late now,we should return to our chambers"

The other two looked at her and then nodded. They bid their good nights and then went to their respective chambers.

The moon was glowing beautifully that night.
And for the first time,Lan Wangji wasn't able to sleep even if it was already past 9 pm.

He got up and slid into his outerobe and fixed his appearance.
He thought about going out for a walk and since they are not in Gusu,it doesn't count as breaking a rule,
Right?

After having a stroll in the moonlight,he decided it was time to get back to his chamber before someone gets to know about him being not asleep yet. When he was almost near his chamber, something inside him made him stop in his track

He looked up to the moon admiring it,the moonlight falling on his face until he heard some noise. He swiftly hid behind one of those huge pillars and was curious about who it was at this time of the night.
(minus out the fact that he is also awake)

His eyes fell on The Yunmeng head disciple, who is none other than Wei Wuxian, climbing up the walls and settling himself on top of Lan Wangji's roof top with two jars of fine for which he sneaked out.

Lan Wangji wasn't going to deny that Wei Wuxian looked like an ethereal beauty under the moonlight.The moonlight highlighted his facial features. Wei Wuxian sat there enjoying his wine, unknown to fact of someone admiring. Lan Wangji kept admiring the beauty who sat there on his roof,until he came back to his senses. His ears turned bright red and he quickly made his way back to his chambers without anyone noticing
