20 ~ Boring

It was my first rasoi. I prepared everything by my own.

He wished to eat Aaalu Paratha and I prepared as he demanded. I even prepared Tomato's salty chutney for maa and papaji as Rani informed me that they are diabetic.

Vivaan sir stepped down in his formals. As he sat down on the chair, my eyes fell on him.

Mahadev surely answered to my Somvaar's vrat!

I was serving the food to everyone.

But Vivaan sir held my wrist tightly and made me sit beside him.

"You really have magic in your hands beta", papa ji spoke.

"Really, what tasty food she has prepared", maa joined him.

After everyone finished their breakfast papa ji called me and forwarded a gift box to me.

I shook my head and said, "how.. can I?".

"This is your gift beta, you prepared such a good food today", he said.

I looked towards Vivaan sir and he nodded his head in assurance.

I took the gift from him and touched his feet.

Maa gifted me gold earrings. I was so happy by their gifts and compliments.

Vivaan sir stood from his table and said, "I'll leave now".

Maa nodded her head. He looked towards me and then left outside.

"Go beta, accompany him till outside", maa said and I immediately became happy.

I run behind him.

He was putting his things inside the car.

As soon as his gaze fell on me, he smiled.

This was the first time he was going to office after our wedding.

I couldn't stop myself from hugging him tightly.

He hugged me back more tightly and muttered, "I don't want to leave you behind".

"I don't want you to leave either", I spoke slowly against his chest.

"That's it I'm not going anywhere now", he said in a serious tone and I immediately seperated myself from him.

"No way! I was speaking out of emotions vivaan sir", I spoke softly.

"But I was speaking the truth, I don't wish to leave you", he cupped my cheeks.

I pushed him towards the car and muttered,

"Come back soon".

He gave me a smile and settled inside his car.

"Take care", he said and I nodded my head.

He left from there only after staring me for an entire minute.

I came inside the house. I had absolutely nothing to do.

Maa was sitting in the hall alone so I decided to join her.

We chatted for sometime and watched television.
Afterwards we had our lunch together.

Now, I was left all alone when she went inside the room to take a nap.

I picked up my phone and scrolled on insta feed.
But everything seemed boring.

I moved towards my room and laid down on the bed. I didn't even realised when I slept.

When I woke up, it was evening. I washed my face and moved downstairs to prepare tea for myself.
