The five men arrived at the cafe a couple of minutes later. an irritated Seungmin and a nervous hyunjin sat on one side of their table, while the couple sat on the other side, hyuka sat in the middle, between jeongin and hyunjin.
"So have you ever been here?" Hyunjin asked, looking across to beomgyu.
The long haired brunette was in the middle of picking up his menu, pausing to look up to hyunjin. "Hm- oh, no I haven't. I just moved away a couple of weeks ago, actually. so I haven't been around this side of the city very often anymore." He explained.
Seungmin tilted his head, confused. Why would he move? jeongin lives on this side of the city...so why would he... move away?
"Wait- what do you mean? Like far away?" Seungmin asked abruptly, slightly surprising hyunjin, who, though he was also curious; still found it kinda rude to ask.
Beomgyu hesitated for a moment, glancing over at his boyfriend before looking back at hyunjin then to seungmin. "well I just got a... pretty big contract signed with tomorrow. Corp So.. I have to live close to the company building as to not miss any hours." He explained, his tone almost sounding regretful in a way.
"Oh.." hyunjin nodded, not knowing what to say. Seungmin of course on the other hand had plenty of words in mind for the weird arrangement, though he decided against it.
Why the hell would you take a job that would take you away from jeongin?
Why wouldn't you take him with you..?
The table was silent for an awkward moment, before jeongin spoke up. "Oh, isn't that your waiter crush over there hyunjin?" He asked, looking at him before looking over to Felix. "Ooh and he's wearing a cute outfit." He teased, referring to the black and white mini skirt the blonde was wearing.
Hyunjin's face immediately flushed with color. "Huh- where!" He looked past his brother and over to the counter, spotting Felix at the side of it, cutely nodding his head side to side as if he was humming along to a song.
"Got a coffee shop sweetheart, huh?" Beomgyu joked, happy they moved into a different subject.
"Yeah.. pretty much." Hyunjin nodded. "He's playing hard to get though." He joked, still looking at the younger from across the room.
"Ooh, so you're pretty sure he likes you?" Kai asked. The tall blonde just nodded confidently.
"Ah, of course. What guy wouldn't like a cutie like Mr Hwang?" Jeongin joked sweetly. Both beomgyu and seungmin looked at the "cutie" in mention, with irritated expressions.
