i'll tell a tale of a single sin
we'll talk and take the road that's thin
we'll swim fast and straight without any fin
so you'd know the difference of catching and staying

the tide only rips those who face the wave
one might survive nor drown as it pave
we'll know someday why pride is brave
but too much holds different craves

it seeks the opposite of what we desire
this tale is about truth of fear which sin bears fire
it's was about loving and caring
but now it's about sacrifices and enduring

slowly the pride poisons the heart and mind
slowly becoming lethal that it grinds
the affection and it's optimistic hinds
slowly cutting and crippling the victim's mind
