Mist

Every step we took was a moment we all lost
Trying not to look back as each moment turned to dust
May it be passion, purpose or time
Things that can't be mimicked even for a mime

The story is there, well written and embeded.
We point to our hearts and mind but people saw us deluded
The pain the sadness the tears are all excluded
Cause deep inside we knew, the vanity of being remembered

All lives bloom, trees and flowers alike
That's how flourishing the present may spike
Once we wither, we fight for our endless fate
For the sake of our kin, until we close our eyes then wraith.

Our mind once gone we seek to read the past once more
Another glimpse to envoy our memories, our lore
Knowing the warmth of the past we clenched our fists
As the light of one's eyes was taken by the glowing mist
