Renia's mother has an unwavering maternal love for everyone, and her father is a software genius, which is the only reason why her parents are wealthy.

Nobody would challenge her mother, who has too much love to comprehend hate or the evilness of this world, if her father created the technology company from the ground up and it helped and protected the village. Hers is not an idea maturity that would grant you popularity.

In fact, Tony can confirm that her maturity is equivalent to his parents' own. The only difference was that she married someone with a powerful maturity who could protect her.

Everyone is happy that Renia did not inherit her mother's power and is grateful that she inherited her father's.

While occasionally her actions seem to indicate otherwise, she hasn't shown too much difference that suggests that her power is something else. She's too quiet and usually doesn't speak out often. That's probably why Steph recruited her into their group.

The gateman let them through the gate. The driveway stretched very far into the horizon, and that's what Tony hated about the house. They entered a white cart and drove towards her mansion, bypassing the fountain that had Tony wondering why that had to be part of the exterior decoration.

Inside the house, Steph matched herself towards Renia's room without consulting the butler -another thing that had Tony questioning why they had to be part of the house.

He and his brother lived in a bungalow bordered by flowers instead of a fence, and they did almost everything on their own. They didn't need any of the things people like Steph, Renia, or even Jackson think they need to run their house.

Renia was holding her phone and was furiously typing into it while Steph was talking to her. When they reached the ground floor, she put her phone into her pocket and said,
"Now, what's all this about Khatara?"

"Jack wants to visit there." Steph said, stressing the word 'visit'.

"Why?" she asked as she sat quietly on a sofa opposite Tony.

"Well, have you heard about..."

Jackson said, but he got interrupted by Steph.

"Yeah. She has. I already briefed her on everything. She knows."

"Okay. We want your vote on this. Steph insisted," he said.

"I don't know if you know this, but do you know the meaning of Khatara?" she said.

"Does it necessarily have a meaning?" Caleb asked.

"I am under the impression that it was named after that monster-eating girl." Tony said.

"The word has always sounded familiar to a language that I am familiar with, but I have never bothered to check it." Steph said, and Tony almost snorted..

"It's an Indian language for danger. Did you know that?" Renia stared at Steph.

"I said that I never bothered to check it," she said.

"Sure you did." Caleb said.

"Whatever. Why are you telling us that anyway?" she asked.

"I know of that belief, Jack, but there are many more myths about that forest, and that one doesn't make sense to me."

"That's not a myth. It happened. My dad's an investigator. He knows everything about it, and he has a file on it. I just happened to have seen it. We need to check it out. It could be promising." Jackson said.

"I heard that a whole family died in that forest, and after that, people started dying whenever they went into the forest at night." Renia said.

"So?" Caleb said.

"Tara died when she escaped to that forest. Before that, people were dying, and they didn't catch her immediately because they thought those men died at night in the forest. She was the only body that was discovered, and everyone heard her growl that night when she was attacked. Did you read that part, Jack?"

"It didn't say that. How did you know?"

"My dad collects information for the net. Young people should know, he would say," she said with a smile.

Renia has very pale skin, somewhat like what Snow would look like as a person. But she had dark eyes with vibrant green eyes, midnight black hair, and blood-red lips.

Even though her skin was pale, Tony had always thought that she's one of those pretty girls who thinks that they need makeup to liven up themselves. She's pretty, no doubt, but no one apart from them - her parents and maybe the servants - has seen her without makeup.

She's always on makeup whenever she goes out.

This made Tony prefer her house whenever he wanted to meet up with her to the outside. He feels like he would be talking to a clown rather than a girl.

"Well, Steph, what's your take on this?" Caleb said.

Tony turned toward Steph to gauge her reaction. She hates it when it seems like someone else knows more than her.

"What do you want from me, Caleb?" she asked.

So, she's not clueless, Tony thought. He knew that she was very smart, but she could be dense at times.

"You know. She got that information from the Internet. Where you should get yours, if you get my drift." Caleb said.

"Fuck you!" she screamed at him.

Caleb smiled at her and relaxed on the couch.

"Hey, no one should fight. I still say that we should check it out." Jackson said.

"I'm in," Caleb said.

"I believe we should eliminate the danger before it becomes a danger to the community as a whole. On this note, I'm in." Tony said.

"I believe Tony. So, I'm in too." Renia said.

"Remaining you, princess." Caleb said.

"Okay. Whatever. I'm in, but don't say that I didn't warn you," she said.
