Her soft lips are against mine, she pulls back. She looks hesitant to say something. "Uh I'm just- sorry." She says running out of the room back out to the table. I hear distant chatter from the living room.
Did Gracie just kiss me? Why would she- What the fuck? I sit on the bed drowning in my thoughts.
Time skip 9pm
"Bye Tyla!" The girls shout walking out the door. I say bye and go back to thinking. I'm just sitting on the edge of the bed clueless. I hear the door shut and footsteps walk towards me. "Hey." Gracie says. The sound of her voice makes me look up.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't ha-" "Why'd you kiss me?" I ask cutting her off. "It was a mistake." She says, I stand up taking a step towards her. "And I really shouldn't have, it was so stupid of me to-" i cut her off again by kissing her this time.
I step back and sit on the bed. "Do you like me Tyla?" Gracie asks. I look at her blankly. "Could it be anymore obvious?" I say. She walks towards me intertwining our hands together. "I've tried telling you so many times that I like you." She says.
"Really?" I say with a hint of excitement. "When I held your hand all the time, the instagram posts, the comments, when I sung Feels Like to you." She says. "I like you too." I smile.
Time skip 6am
We walk along the beach together with our hands locked in each others. "Wouldn't wanna be anywhere else." Gracie says softly. I give her a smile.

"Tyla?" Gracie asks. "Yes?" I smile. "You can't confirm tyie is real cause I don't think I've been asked out yet." She giggles. "You kissed me." I protest. "Still." She shrugs her shoulders. "Fine." I roll my eyes.
"Gracie. When I was sat next to you at the Grammys I didn't know that you would become the most important person in my life. And I'm so grateful we met, I'm not sure where I would be without you." I smile. She nods her head. "And?" She says impatiently. "Ugh you can't wait can you?" I say making her shake her head.
"Gracie Madigan Abrams, will you be my girlfriend?" I ask. "Hm." She ponders. I look down at my shoes. "Oh my god come here you idiot." She says walking towards me. She kisses me once again. She pulls away leaving her head on mine. Her hazel eyes staring into my blue ones. She smiles. "Yes I'll be your stupid girlfriend." She whispers.
