Elektra flopped down onto the soft couch as she picked up the gaming console, it had been a long day for sure. The newcomers are as noisy and annoying as ever, whining about being way too tired to continue. Elektra sighed, annoying little fucks. She played a few rounds of [INSERT GAEM HERE] as she waited for her girlfriend to come home.
"Done."
"Woah! That was SO cool!" The girl beside her said, she was a newcomer, and that means it was Caitlyn's responsibility to go on the first few missions with them. It was annoying and she can see why Evelynn was in a bad, no absolutely awful mood earlier in the day.
"The mission is done." Caitlyn simply said, dragging the body into a huge plastic bag and tying it up, throwing it into a nearby dumpster as they walked out of the apartment building.
"But i wanted to spend more time with the Scarlet Diamonds! You all are SO COOL." The girl jumped up and down, squealing in excitement.
"I'm busy." Caitlyn said, she couldn't wait to go home, dealing with newcomers is not her favourite. She wiped the speck of blood off her face and walked down the empty street, it was sunset, and definitely really late. She was not used to going on missions this late, it was usually Evelynn's job.
"But that's what the last Scarlet Diamond said when she finished..."
"We are busy. We don't have time hanging out with people." Caitlyn sighed, scrolling through her phone, she could not wait to call a cab and go home, she is not dealing with this girl's high-pitched voice anymore.
"Awh okay. I just wanna say, it's much better going on missions with you guys than agility training. Ugh i couldn't even keep up with my mentor, and she thinks we're slow, EXCUSE ME, we are not as good as you. Shut your loud ass mouth."
"Excuse me?" Caitlyn froze, looking at the girl.
"You don't know the agility trainer? Elektra... i think."
"I do know her."
"She's SO annoying, she's like, so full of energy. UGH. And she yells at us 24/7. Pretty annoying." The girl said, checking her nails, "I bet she tortured you too."
Caitlyn felt her body tense as she tries to hold back her anger, "Maybe she's just stressed." She said, keeping her voice flat and monotone.
"Probably not, i think-"
"I DONT FUCKING CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK," Caitlyn said, resisting the urge to punch the girl in her face. She took a deep breath, "Respect others, alright? YOU BETTER."
"Fine."
This wasn't enough, the girl was clearly insulting Elektra, and Caitlyn has not blown off enough steam yet.
"YOU better shut your whiny little mouth and DONT EVER talk shit about her." She said, eyeing the girl one last time before storming off.
Elektra sighed and checked the time, 7:34p.m, Caitlyn usually goes on missions in daytime... perhaps it's those newcomers. Elektra shook her head and stood up, planning to get something to drink. She heard the door slam and rushed towards Caitlyn, wrapping the assassin in a big hug.
"CAITLYN YOU ARE SO FUCKING DEAD WHY DID YOU COME HOME SO LATE I WAS SO LONELY-"
"The mission took longer than i thought." Caitlyn said, hugging back, "The newcomers are well... a pain in the ass."
"Obviously," Elektra said, the enthusiasm fading from her voice, "So? Are you alright? Bad day?" She took Caitlyn's hand and led her into the living room, flopping down onto the couch again.
"Yea." Caitlyn said, leaning against Elektra's shoulder, "They are... I admit, kind of annoying."
"KIND OF?! Oh come on you've got to be KIDDING, they whine so much." Elektra sighed again, "Anyways forget about them, they're not worth your attention. But you know who is? That's right! Me!" Elektra laughed and kissed Caitlyn, smiling as Caitlyn blushed.
"Oh come on, i know that." Caitlyn smiled as well and snuggled into Elektra's lap.
"Anyways... what do you want for dinner?"
"Can we skip dinner tonight? I'm tired..." Caitlyn yawned, closing her eyes.
"But- Fine." Elektra said, "You want to... sleep here?"
"Mhm."
"I- alright. Goodnight, pookie."
"Don't call me that."
