Sorry for the slight delay. It's been a very dark day in my head. I'm feeling slightly better now, and I hope y'all enjoy this chapter!!

MIDORIYA'S POV

"When does Tsu swim again?" I asked Todoroki. I don't fully understand sports. I've never really cared to. I'm all for attending events to support my friends, but my brain physically can't remember everything that's been explained to me about sports.

"She swims last," Todoroki replied. "Because she's the?" he trailed off, hoping I would finish his sentence.

"I feel like I should know this, but I can't remember it."

Todoroki patted my head and said, "It's a good thing you're cute. She's the anchor." I nodded. "On another note, why the hell is your hair so soft?" he asked. Usually, my hair was a frizzy mess, but Kaminari ended up buying me curl treatment and cream for my birthday a few months ago. I didn't use it until recently when he used his puppy dog face, which I can't seem to ignore.

Kaminari could ask for my kidney, and I'm sure I would give it to him. He came from a tough home life, and although I won't turn into a pot-head-partier for him, I would do just about anything else. Even then, if he seriously asked me to the kegger with his best pouty face, I would probably have said yes, anyway. Growing up, his parents were extremely religious. When they found out he was gay, they used several punishments to attempt to 'cure' him. He knelt on rice for hours until it did enough damage that he couldn't walk. They fed him one meal daily: two eggs and a single piece of toast. They homeschooled him so he couldn't talk to anyone and get out of his punishments. There were more things that I didn't want to think about.

Because of that, I encourage him to live life to the fullest because he didn't have the chance as a teenager. He tends to drag people with him, and I always do my best to avoid doing anything like partying and whatnot, but I would go with him if he put on his pouty face.

"Ready?" Todoroki asked, leaning forward on his knees. When I looked up, Tsu was in position, and as soon as the person in the water hit the wall, she jumped in. Todoroki pulled me to my feet as the rest of the people in the bleachers stood as well.

Tsu swam across the pool directly toward us. She flipped and kicked off before swimming back when she reached the wall below our feet. The students were cheering as she swam back and touched the wall only a split second before the girl in the lane to her left. I'm not one hundred percent sure what race we're watching or what's going on, but Todoroki was cheering, so I did the same.

When the cheering had died down, he turned to me with a smile. "Thank you for coming out with me today." Truthfully, he shouldn't have needed to ask. I have three best friends, and Tsu is one of them. I should have wanted to be here for her on my own.

"I'm happy to come. Just let me know when you're coming, and if I'm available, I'll join you." He smiled halfheartedly, knowing that I probably wouldn't. I would come to a few more, but I couldn't make it to all of them.

"Do you want to grab dinner on the way back?" We filed into the hallway as the swimmers made their way back to the locker room.

"No thanks. If you two want to get a bite to eat, that's fine. I can Uber back or find another ride." He frowned but didn't fight me.

"Are you positive?" After I nodded, he looked around the hallway until his eyes landed on Iida and his girlfriend, Uraraka. We don't talk much, but she's friends with Tsu.

"Iida!" Todoroki yells, grabbing their attention. As soon as they saw him, they made their way over to him. "Are you two heading back to campus?"

"I was going to see what Tsu was doing, but he's going back," Uraraka said, nodding toward her boyfriend.
