I'm sorry that this is so late in the day. It's taken me a while to catch up since I took some time off for my small birthday trip. Anyway, I wanted to get this out for y'all on time, so please forgive any errors you may find. I did a brief edit, but I did not do a thorough one.
BAKUGO'S POV
For the second day in a row, I was woken up by a loud banging on the bathroom door that connected with mine and Shitty Hair's bathroom. Groaning, I stood up, stomped to the door, and ripped it open. "What?" I snapped.
His red eyes locked on mine, and even though I had yet to rub the tiredness from my eyes, I could still see the sadness in his iris's. I looked down to see him holding a box of black hair dye and gloves. I shook my head and grabbed them from his hands.
"You love your red hair. I will not help you ruin it," I told him.
"But Hanta wants—"
I held my hand up, silencing him. "Spend the day with me. We can blow off practice and do something else. At the end of the day, if you still want to color your hair back to your natural color, you can make an appointment somewhere. If you use box hair dye, you may regret it."
He frowned. "We can't blow off practice," he said.
"Yes, we can. Get ready." I left the door open and turned back toward my bed, grabbing my phone off the charger.
"What should I wear?" he asked. It wasn't hard to convince him to do something, which is what mainly terrified me the most when it came to his relationship with Soy Sauce.
"Something comfortable," I told him. "We're going to the game shop and arcade."
He smiled before asking about our two lectures today. Luckily for us, these professors don't take attendance, and it doesn't matter whether we're there or not. "I'll get the notes from someone. Do you want to invite anyone else?" Obviously, they can't be on the football team, but that may be for the best right now. He needs to be with other people and forget about his idiotic fucking boyfriend for a while.
"What about Kaminari? After you and Midoriya disappeared at the kegger, we got to chatting a little. He seems really cool. I think he'll enjoy playing board games and going to the arcade."
"Yeah, just shoot him a text and ask him," I said. If he does come, that'll give me a chance to get to know Midoriya's best friend, which may help me out in the future.
"I uh... don't have his number. Can you ask Midoriya for it? He can come too if you want."
I almost asked him why he didn't grab his number if he liked him and wanted to be his friend and talk some more. Then, I remembered Soy Sauce was there and everything made sense. I don't want to imagine the hell they would have gone through if he had asked for his number.
"Get ready. We're leaving to get breakfast in fifteen minutes," I said to Shitty Hair before pulling my phone from my pocket and texting Midoriya.
Me- Feel like finishing something else on your list today?
His reply was almost immediate.
Nerd- Depends on what it is.
Me- How many classes do you have today?
Nerd- Just one on Monday's. Why?
Me- Do you need to go to class today? Shitty Hair is having a rough day, and I'm taking him to play board games and play arcade games. We wanted to know if you and Kaminari wanted to join, but we don't have Kaminari's number.
