Taehyung hesitated outside Jimin's door, his heart pounding with uncertainty. He knew he needed to talk to Jimin, to address the tension that had arisen between them, but he wasn't sure where to begin.
Summoning his courage, Taehyung knocked softly on the door, his hand trembling slightly. After a moment, the door creaked open, revealing Jimin standing on the other side, his eyes red-rimmed and puffy from crying.
"Taehyung..." Jimin's voice trailed off, a mix of surprise and sadness in his tone.
"Jimin, can we talk?" Taehyung asked, his own voice barely above a whisper.
Jimin hesitated for a moment before nodding, stepping back to allow Taehyung entry into his room. As Taehyung crossed the threshold, he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt at the sight of Jimin's tear-stained cheeks.
"I'm sorry, Jimin," Taehyung began, his words sincere. "I didn't mean for things to escalate like they did."
Jimin nodded, his gaze fixed on the floor as he struggled to compose himself. "I know, Tae. I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have shouted at you like that."
Silence hung heavy in the air between them, the weight of their unspoken feelings pressing down on them like a leaden blanket.
Finally, Taehyung broke the silence, his voice tentative. "Jimin, about what you said earlier... about how you feel when you see me with someone else..."
Jimin looked up, his eyes meeting Taehyung's with a mixture of apprehension and longing.
"I meant it, Tae," Jimin said softly, his voice barely a whisper. "I've been struggling with these feelings for a while now, and I couldn't keep them bottled up any longer."
Taehyung felt a surge of emotion swell within him at Jimin's words, his heart aching with the weight of their shared pain.
"I didn't realize, Jimin," Taehyung confessed, his voice choked with emotion. "I've been so caught up in my own confusion that I didn't stop to consider how you might be feeling."
Jimin reached out, placing a hand on Taehyung's arm in a gesture of comfort. "It's okay, Tae. We're both figuring this out together."
For a moment, they simply sat in silence, the weight of their unspoken emotions hanging heavy in the air. But as Taehyung looked into Jimin's eyes, he knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together, hand in hand
Days turned into weeks as Taehyung tussled with his inner turmoil, his thoughts consumed by Jimin's words and the implications they held for their friendship. And as he wrestled with his own feelings, he realized that he couldn't ignore the truth any longer.
As Taehyung sat with Jimin in the quiet of his room, the weight of their unspoken conversation pressing heavily upon them, he knew that he couldn't keep his feelings buried any longer. With a deep breath, he summoned the courage to speak from his heart.
"Jimin... I've been doing a lot of thinking since our argument. And I realize now that I've been avoiding something that's been staring me in the face." Taehyung said, after figuring things out.
Jimin looked up, his eyes searching Taehyung's face for any hint of what he was about to say.
"What do you mean, Tae?" Jimin asked
"I mean... I care about you, Jimin. More than I've ever cared about anyone else. And... I think I might have feelings for you too." Taehyung honestly confessed,
Jimin's breath hitched in his throat, his heart pounding with a mixture of hope and fear.
"Tae... do you mean that?" He asked again to confirm that
