Sun shining warmly and bright, the sky showed not a single cloud, and with the Kingdom being quiet lately, the people there were calmer than usual. Though they still followed their daily schedule, it wasn't as hectic and demanding as it usually was, especially whenever there'd be an emergency operation they would need to tend to.

Due to the lack of missions, the Agents were allowed to relax and either work on upgrading their equipment or hone their skills at the training area and simulation rooms. At the outdoor training area exclusive for the special agents, several of the latter could be found tinkering and training with their equipment.

The whooshing sound of air could be heard as Jett, one of the Radiant agents, dashed over a stack of crates and weaved through swinging barrels with confidence and ease. Watching from the side lines, Sage and Raze could be found either clapping or cheering for the duelist.

It was no secret to anyone that Jett had become an attention-seeker more than before ever since Reyna joined the Kingdom due to the healer they all know and love. The mentioned latter, Reyna, didn't hide how she usually flirted with others with absolutely no boundaries. Most especially wih Sage, the main healer of the sect.

Everyone already registered that she was simply a natural flirt and would tease whichever agent that captures her eyes for the day. The only one oblivious of it was the healer herself. Sage was also clueless about Jett's eyes on her.

Sage had caught Jett's eye ever since they were introduced to one another and was put together for a mission. Ever since that operation, Jett had been trying her hardest to impress and capture the healer's own interest.

"One day, that girl is surely going to get broken a bone, or two." Cypher said with a little chuckle, his eyes flicking from the camera he was fixing, to the agent leaning against a tree behind him. It was Omen, watching the jerk Jett was making of herself. "I wouldn't be surprised if she did." He grunted out in low, to some people frightening voice.

"Well, well, well! You actually said something." Cypher commented, surprised that Omen had provided a reply, something unusual from him. He and him may always hang at the same location, but rarely did Omen actually give any form of response other than a grunt.

Instead of acknowledging what Cypher had said, Omen rolled his eyes and muttered, "Same tricks, same moves and absolutely no thrill. If she truly wants to capture Sage's attention, she should choose an approach that's less arrogant, yet.. special."

"Oh ?" Now Cypher's attention was truly caught by his words. He laid his camera down and looked over his shoulder, raising an eyebrow at the fellow agent. "I didn't know you are an expert in romance, Omen. This is certainly news to me."

Omen grunted, suppressing the urge to roll his eyes again. "I'm not."

"That's not what the other soldiers say, though." A deep voice sneaked in, causing the two to turn and face the newly-arrived speaker. They both found Brimstone walking towards them, a knowing look on his face. "Ah, Brimstone! my friend. Always a pleasure to see you !" Cypher greeted with a small smile and nod. "..And pardon me, but what do the others say ?" The Moroccan then added.

"Omen here is actually the reason why the new kid is close to our snake lady." Cypher's eyes widened slightly in surprise, an amused look on his face. "Those rumors ?! I thought they were absolutely false !"

Brimstone shook his head. "Nope. I heard Ariana was always acting pressed when the new recruit got interested in her tech. The kid poked around and it pissed her off, but turns out, she might actually have a little something for the whiz. She tolerates her more than she has ever tolerated Jett and Phoenix, which is very odd to many of us." The team leader crossed his buff arms on his chest.
