(In Lian's House)

The morning light filtered softly through the curtains as Kuea blinked his eyes open. His head was still hazy from the previous night, but the gentle warmth of the sun slowly brought him back to his senses.

He shifted under the blanket, stretching his limbs, feeling the comfort of Lian's bed beneath him.

As Kuea rolled onto his back, his eyes lazily drifted toward the bathroom door just as it opened. There stood Lian, fresh from the shower, a towel wrapped loosely around his waist.

Water droplets clung to his hair, and some slid down the hard lines of his bare chest, tracing the contours of his well-defined muscles.

The morning sun caught the glistening water on his skin, making him look like something straight out of a magazine photoshoot.

Kuea's breath caught in his throat, his eyes widening slightly as he stared at Lian. His mind began to race as his gaze lingered... too long, far too long.

He felt his heart start to beat faster, the realization creeping in that he was staring at Lian in a way that felt wrong.

Kuea's Mind Voice: "Shit, Kuea! What are you doing? Why are you staring at him like this? He's your big brother!"

He scolded himself inwardly, trying to shake the strange flutter in his chest. But the thoughts didn't stop there, as his eyes momentarily flicked down, tracing the strong lines of Lian's shoulders and torso.

"But Hia is handsome anyway." he thought before snapping himself out of it again.

Kuea's face flushed with embarrassment, and he quickly averted his eyes, trying to act casual.

Meanwhile, Lian, who had caught the lingering stare from the corner of his eye, couldn't help the smile that tugged at his lips.

He felt a strange sense of satisfaction knowing Kuea had been looking at him like that, even if Kuea didn't realize it yet. But Lian played it cool, pretending not to notice, suppressing the giddiness he felt inside.

Lian dried his hair with a towel, still wearing nothing but the towel around his waist, before he began getting dressed for college. He moved with ease, his bare skin still shimmering with droplets as he reached for his shirt.

Kuea, who had been lost in his thoughts, snapped back to reality when Lian's voice broke through the silence.

"Good morning," Lian greeted softly, his voice warm and filled with concern. "How are you feeling? Do you think you can go to school today, or do you want to stay home and rest?"

Kuea blinked, feeling a rush of nervousness swirl in his chest. His mouth went dry, and he fumbled for words, unsure why he felt so awkward all of a sudden. "I-I'm fine, Hia. I think... I'll go to school."

He felt his voice tremble slightly, and immediately, he regretted it. Lian noticed the nervousness too, his brow furrowing just a bit as he sensed something wasn't quite right.

There was an underlying tension in Kuea's tone, something that Lian couldn't ignore. But before Lian could ask anything more, Kuea hastily got up from the bed and bolted toward the bathroom.

Lian stood there for a moment, buttoning up his shirt, and watching as Kuea disappeared behind the bathroom door. He let out a soft sigh, a mixture of affection and concern filling his chest.

He knew something was bothering Kuea, but he wasn't going to push it. He also couldn't deny the subtle joy he felt when he noticed Kuea's lingering stare earlier.

Maybe, Lian thought, just maybe, Kuea will start to see me in a different light.
