Chapter 14 of Lucky:
It has been a month and a half since Katherine and I were officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
I can't wait to take her home to meet my family in Ireland tomorrow. My 19th birthday will be phenominal - I just know it!

Today is my birthday - September 13th.
Katherine is so excited to meet my family.
We walked into my house, and my family all yelled, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
"Thanks, everybody.", I said.
"Who's the girl over there?", my brother asked me.
"This is my girlfriend, Katherine. Katherine, this is my brother Greg and his girlfriend, Denise.", I said, introducing Katherine to them.
"It's nice to meet you.", Katherine said shyly.
"Katherine, meet my mom, Maura, and my dad, Bobby.", I told her.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Horan.", Katherine exclaimed.
"I don't know if I told you this, but my parents are actually divorced.", I explained to Katherine.
"Oh. Sorry.", she said in embarrassment.
After the party, Katherine and I went on a little date.
"The boys suggested that I do something I want to do for my birthday, so I wanted to help raise money for charity a little bit.", I said.
"This is a golf course. I don't know how to play. And are you sure that this is for charity?", Katherine exclaimed.
"Yes, I'm sure. I'll teach you if you don't know how to play.", I said.
"Okay. Thanks, Niall.", Katherine replied.
As we walked through the golf course, the two of us kissed.
"It's getting late. Do you want to go back home?", I asked.
"Okay.", Katherine replied.
"You can stay in my room.", I said.
"Niall, you don't have to do that.", she replied.
"No, I insist. You can stay here and sleep in my room for the night.", I exclaimed.
"Fine. Happy birthday, Niall. Goodnight.", she said.
"Thanks, love. Goodnight.", I whispered.

The flight back to California was very tiring.
"Katherine, wake up! KATHERINE!!!", I yelled, poking her in the arm.
"Niall, what was that for?", she shouted.
"You fell asleep on the plane; I was trying to get you to wake up!", I exclaimed.
"I'm awake now!", Katherine said, blushing.
"Don't be embarrassed, you look so cute when you're sleeping.", I whispered.
"Thanks...", she whispered back.
