T'Challa x Reader ( Proposal )

Reader's POV

I was working for Everett Ross when I first met T'Challa and from the first moment I laid my eyes on him I thought that he was cute and super handsome. After some missions together I knew that I had feelings for him but who am I to love a king? I was just some girl and he was royalty. Besides there are so many girls that are more beautiful than me. One time as we were on a mission again, I got shot. T'Challa aborded the mission and quickly took me to his people. One week later I woke up from a coma. The moment I opened my eyes I saw T'Challa by my side. I could see that he was not sleeping much. When I asked him why he hadn't been sleeping he told me that he was unable to sleep while I was in a coma. Then he told me about his feelings towards me. When he was done, I told him that I had feelings for him too and that's how I started to date the king of Wakanda. One year later we are still dating. He was an amazing man that changed my life.

T'Challa's POV

Shuri: ''Are you sure about this brother?''

Me: ''Of course, I am. I love her more than anything.''

Shuri: ''I know, I know. I'm just asking. Now let me see the ring.''

I opened the black box and showed her the ring I was going to use as a proposal. The ring was white gold with a big black stone. Black was her favorite color. Shuri's eyes got big.

Shuri: ''Well I am impressed brother. She is going to love it.''

Said Shuri and I smiled. I loved Y/N with all my heart, and I wanted her to become my wife. She changed my life forever and I can't imagine my life without her in it.

Me: ''So you know what you must do right?''

Shuri nodded her head.

Shuri: ''I must bring her to the royal gardens.''

Me: ''And?''

Shuri: ''I must not ruin the surprise.''

Me: "Are you sure you can handle it?"

She rolled her eyes before turning around and left to get Y/N.

Reader's POV

Me: ''Shuri where are you taking me?''

Shuri: ''You will see.''

Why is she acting so suspicious? Something is going to happen, but I don't know what it is. She brought me to the royal gardens without any reason why.

Me: ''Why are we here Shuri?''

Shuri: ''He's waiting.''

She said and with that, she left. I began to look around and as I came to the middle of the garden, I saw T'Challa. As I came to him, he took my right hand and kissed it. A smile came on my face.

T'Challa: ''Y/N you look beautiful as ever.''

Me: ''Well thank you. Why did Shuri bring me here and why is she acting so suspicious?''

T'Challa: ''I need to ask you something.''

I nodded my head so he would continue.

T'Challa: ''Y/N you are the most beautiful and amazing girl I have ever met. You changed my life. I'm going to love you until my heart stops beating.''

With that, T'Challa got on one knee and pulled a black box out of his pocket. As he opened it, I saw the most beautiful wedding ring ever. With my hands, I covered my mouth.

T'Challa: ''Y/N would you do me the honour and become my queen?''

Tears were pouring down my eyes as I nodded my head.

Me: ''Yes, yes, yes, yes.''

With a smile on his face, T'Challa got up and our lips met. Then he placed a beautiful ring on my finger. We were about to kiss again when we heard a grunt and as we looked behind me, we saw Shuri on the ground with her legs still in the bush. She looked at us.

Shuri: ''Huh...Congratulations!''

She said and  T'Challa and I chuckled. We looked into each other's eyes before we shared a long passionate kiss.
