The wind filled the ashen sky with a sharp chill, while the rusty clocks on the concrete roads relentlessly counted down. Time used to be believed to be a powerful ally, but now... Now we seem to have disappeared, lost among the broken fragments of time. Now I feel that time hangs over us like a dark cloud, a world full of ghosts of the past and hopes drowned in the dark waters of the future.

Why am I telling you all this? A few years ago, when my father's funeral came back from a business trip, my life was completely turned upside down. My mother had died of illness when I was young, so I barely knew her. I was one year old when she died, but my father was the most well-meaning, pure and honest man I have ever known. He was both a mother and a father to me.

They said my father died of a heart attack, but I never believed it, so I decided to become a detective to investigate his death. I trained myself for years, graduated from university with honors, and became the best detective in the country. All I found were a few clues from the conversations my father had with his friends before he left. They said that my father always carried a diary with him and that no matter what happened, he always wrote down everything that happened.

And where was the diary? I had never found a diary among my father's belongings, so there must have been very important information hidden in that diary, and therefore my father's killer, whoever he was, must have been after it. Or the diary was in the hands of the killer. Another remarkable thing was that at my father's funeral, I witnessed a conversation among his friends. They said that my father might have killed someone and that's why he was killed.

Later, we never met those friends of my father's again because they had moved to another country. No matter what I did, I couldn't find any other clues about my father's death. Maybe I should have convinced myself that he died of a heart attack and moved on with my life. Until one day I came across a mysterious envelope in my mailbox.

When I opened the envelope that day, I got the shock of my life. There was a clue to my father's mysterious murder, which I had been trying to solve for years. A symbol was drawn on the letter and a small note was written underneath: "You will find this symbol in book 1771 in the banned old books section of the city library. The answer to your questions is there..."

Wasting no time, I jumped in my car and drove to the city library. I showed my ID card to the clerk and told him I needed to go to the forbidden section. He took me to the forbidden section. According to the note, I found book 1771. I opened the book and quickly turned the pages. A photograph fell out of the book first. What, my father?! My father's name was written in red letters, crossed out, and underneath it was written in capital letters "LEADER'S KILLER". My blood ran cold. Even the possibility that the conversations in my memory were true frightened me. When I checked the pages again and saw the same symbol as the one on the notepaper in the corner of page 177, I realized that what I was looking for was on that page. I read that page from beginning to end. The page talked about something like a legend.

Long ago, in a place unknown to anyone, there was a rupture in the heart of time. An unknown force tore and shattered the fabric of time. The ties between past, future and present began to break like a fragile thread. However, people with extraordinary abilities formed a time-traveling community to save the world and restore the lost balance of time: "Time Tailors".

They were a society that guarded the secrets of time. Their leader was my father's alleged victim. I had to join that community at all costs...

That's why I'm here, carrying the scars of the past, searching for the hope of the future. I'm Melody. I have sworn vengeance and I will find whoever or whoever caused my father's wrongful death!
