CHAPTER 2
After 16 years, Derek didn't get married because he didn't want to, because he was obsessed with finding that wolf woman. This took up all his time, being his purpose. That woman made a great impression on him and this did not let his mind rest or stop at home.
As a result of this devotion, the lumberjack cannot have a normal life. He always dreamed of her, and he did not give up on finding her and marrying that woman with skin as dark as night, with a softness that no other woman he had slept with had.
One winter day, Derek heard of a powerful sorcerer Blitave from Montesina. Derek searched until he found it tucked away like a nomande in a cave in Ramadala.
Blitave was quite old, had white hair, brown eyes, dark golden beige skin, was short, and wore a knee-length black dress. Even though it was dangerous, and having heard about the sorcerer's evil deeds, Derek wasn't afraid and told his brief story of love and the magic that had fallen on the woman he wanted most in his life.
"So, master, do you know who did it?" Derek asked anxiously.
"Yes."
"Then talks this sorcerer to removing this evil from this poor woman. It is very sad to be an irrational animal all your life."
The sorcerer laughed.
"What it was? Why laugh at me?" Derek asked angrily.
"Mister Estevez, do you consider me an idiot?"
"No!" Derek replied sheepishly, cringing.
"Or do you think I'm a baby I was born yesterday?"
"Of course."
"How old do you think I am?" the sorcerer asked.
"Maybe eighty years." Derek kicked.
"Almost that, I'm 82 years old, but this curse has become a legend, as it's been over 200 years since it was performed against the Rhoxos clans."
"What? All this time!"
"Your story of him became legend because of the offense that Rhoxo was too scabrous against the sorceress Nedja Solus."
"Eh? But what has my beloved to do with all this?" Derek asked interested.
"Probably nothing! She must already be the daughter of the children, and the children, of the children of this first Rhoxo, the first of the clan to suffer from the curse, so her descendants become wolves." Blitave said.
"Did they go on to have intercourse with other wolves? Was it?" Derek asked curiously.
"Probably yes, but there are 12 special days a year when they have a rest for their paws, can become human, and meet a male or female to mate with and have human children. Blitave broke the news
"Do I have a chance of having a baby with my wolf woman?" Derek wondered, hoping so.
"Of course you have, because it's usually the wolf's mating season, and they're looking to mate with a human, but if you've impregnated that woman, you might have more than one child."
"Wow! It would be incredible." Derek said thoughtfully. "I didn't get married, or have enough children. It would be nice to have an heir."
"I believe you have more than one." Wolves have a litter of between 5 and 7 pups!" The sorcerer deduced.
"Please help me find her and my children." Derek said desperately.
"She may not even remember you, nor will she call you the night you miss her so much, as she must have had many other coitus with different men." The sorcerer said taking the joy out of the woodcutter's face.
"No! She is my love, she just slept with me!" Derek said confidently.
"Fool! You sir are very naive. He should have gone on with his life. She wasn't a young maiden like the ones she knows, she doesn't think like a girl who aspires to marriage, she just wanted to reproduce with a man." The sorcerer said laughing.
"I don't believe it." Derek said irritably, punching his right hand into his left hand.
"Believe what you want, because you wasted your time not marrying a real woman." - The sorcerer said belittling the man.
Derek was silent, pouting.
Suddenly, the sorcerer showed him a cape that he took from inside a wall that glowed coming straight from a magic portal the size of a hand.
"What is this?"
"A cloak for a she wolf to wear."
"Will this cloak help you find her?" Derek asked impatiently.
"It will help make her woman, but it won't point you in the direction of where she lives."
"Help me find her, I'll give you whatever you want, I'm not young anymore, I'm already 45 years old, I have some savings, and at the time, I was 29 years old, and I don't want to die without hearing from her."
"I have a fork here."
"Fork?" Derek said looking at the object with disdain.
"Yes. Do you have anything from her?" the sorcerer asked.
"No. She had no clothes, no documents, nothing."
"A hair at least. Have you?"
"Ah, that's right, she let some hair fall when she passed by the window. And I kept it with me as a memory of the wonderful night we had."
"Do you have it there?" Blitave asked.
"Yes!"
The sorcerer took the bunch of hairs; put them in a cauldron, along with other roots, and a mixture of a gray and shiny liquid. Then smoke came out, then he took a wooden fork with three tips and the middle one was bigger, and put it inside, he took it out in a few seconds, but it was no longer wooden and had become metallic.
He gave it and showed the woodcutter how to use it. Derek would twirl the fork, when it was midnight, and it would indicate the location of his beloved she wolf.
Derek was very happy for Blitave to show him how to find the beloved wolf, and how to rescue her from animal form, only it came at a high price that the woodcutter would surely regret later.
He could not believe the price the sorcerer asked, it was not money, it was his child, if he had one, he should give one of his children to the wolf. Derek was speechless. He could not do this. Blitave wanted a child he did not even know existed, but it seemed he was more certain than Derek of this child's existence was.
The woodcutter agreed, because he believed he would not have feelings for someone he never met and maybe did not even exist, because he thought he did not have children with the wolf, and just wanted to find her. This was the sole purpose of his life.
"Don't worry, Mr. Derek. I do not want your son's harm. I want him to be my disciple. May he be a mighty being of power and knowledge."
"What?"
"Like you, I had no children, and I found no one who wanted to stay with me for many years to learn the magical arts.
"And do you think he will come?" Derek asked in astonishment.
"No matter what he wants, we made the deal, and you as the father owe me your son."
"Hmm! Am I really obligated?"
"Yes! If not, I cursed you and you will be separated from that wolf forever." Blitave threatened.
"Calm down, mister, I'm going to give you this supposed son. Derek said without really thinking about the consequences.
"You're going to give it to me. For better or for worse."
