*I have decided to not go by the episodes for the next few chapters. I want to focus on Ryan and Blake's relationship and give John more time with his girls. Don't worry I will go back to the episodes here in a few chapters, my timeline just doesn't completely match with the show. I will say writing this chapter was pretty difficult for me, I usually have the show outline to help. Plus I've never had a child so I had to ask my friends who have had kids and do my research.*

Blake sat on the couch with her head in John's lap, she had been more snuggly with the pain and thinking she was losing her dad. She rubbed her stomach and smiled "He's still a kicking fool in there, I can see him moving now." John looked at her stomach and chuckled when he saw a little butt imprint move across her stomach "He is, buds running out of room. He will be here before you know it, honey." John heard footsteps and saw Beth standing in front of him "Can I sit with you guys?" John smiled moved a pillow and kissed Beth's head as she sat down, "Both of my girls together with me, I think I died and went to heaven." Blake gave her dad a look and he chuckled "Too soon? Sorry honey." Blake sighed and moved to her side "I can't stay in one spot, he moves and I can feel him pressing on a nerve." Beth looked at her sister "Want me to put a cattle glove on and pull him out?" Blake looks at her sister "Oh my God would you?!" Beth made a face "Bitch I was kidding, I would never do that." Blake sat up and looked at her sister "What would happen if I went into labor and you had to deliver the baby?" Beth chuckled "Puke and find someone else to do it."

Blake rolled her eyes and Beth "Really? Wow okay Beth I will make sure not to have my baby around you." John chuckled "You girls are worrying about something that will not happen, Blake we will get you to the hospital fast enough. I promise you will get the epidural." Blake and Beth both relax and look at John and Beth says "How can you be so calm? You almost died and Blake is ready to pop at any time. How can you not be a ball of nerves?" John looked at her and rubbed Blake's arm "Well girls, in my lifetime I have learned not to stress over things you can't change. I can't change what happened to me but I'm alive and I'm healing." He looked at Blake "And we can't change Blake's due date, so we have to go with the flow. We can't stress about it, especially Blake. Honey, you don't need any more stress, Carl said to take it easy and not to stress. Stress will make the pain worse."

Blake relaxed on John and nodded "Yes Sir." The girls ended up falling asleep on John, all three of them snoring when Ryan and Rip came into the house looking for the girls. Rip grunted, "I'll wake up Beth if you wanna take Blake upstairs." Ryan nodded and carefully picked her up and carried her up to her room, he placed her on the bed took off her maternity jeans, and put her the rest of the way in bed. Ryan took off his pants and put on a sleep shirt, he crawled into bed with her and held her close as she slept. He wanted to savor these last few days, the last days or even a week of it just being the two of them. Ryan was so happy the day Blake asked him to be the rightful father of her child, he already loved the kid and he wasn't even here yet. Ryan rubbed her stomach and tried not to laugh when he heard Beth cussing at Rip for waking her up. Ryan kissed Blake's shoulder and whispered "Your sister is something else, honey, she's going to be the fun aunt." Ryan kissed her head as he snuggled closer to her, he fell asleep with his hand on her stomach.

The next morning Blake woke up alone, she rolled over and looked at the clock. Fuck it was eleven thirty, why didn't anyone wake her up? Blake tried to get up but she kept falling back on the bed, Blake huffed and called out "DADDY! I NEED HELP!" Blake heard the quick footsteps before her door was swung open, John was frantic "Is the baby coming? Are you hurt?" He looked at her lying in bed as she spoke "I'm stuck. I can't get out of the bed." John nodded and grabbed her hand as he placed his hand on her back to help her sit up "There we go, you doing ok Bee?" Blake rubbed her stomach and winced "Hurts more this morning. The pain has traveled lower." John helped her get off the bed and he held her as she steadied herself, he looked at her stomach. Stepping back to get a better look "You dropped." Blake looks down "I didn't drop anything, what do you mean?" John placed his hands on his daughter's bump "Not that kind of drop honey, the baby has dropped. That usually means the baby is coming soon, he has dropped into position to be born."
