Imagine: Your best friend, Bella, finds out that Paul imprinted on you and doesn't allow it.
"Why are you always with Paul? It's kind of annoying." Bella grumbles, pouting at you in front of the pack.
"Well, probably because she's my imprint." Paul retorts.
"Oh, crap." You throw an awkward look and bite down on your lip.
"He what?" Bella screams, glaring at you.
"I didn't tell you because you're team vampire. And besides, every time I wanted to hang out with you, you were with Edward. But the second I pay more attention to Paul, you suddenly realize it and become so needy and clingy." You sigh, rolling your eyes at Bella as she still keeps the annoyed and angry look on her face.
"So you're bound to the hothead for the rest of your life, pleasing him?" Bella snarls.
"No... I belong with him. And you can't keep me from him." You snap back.
Bella looks taken aback. "Well, atleast my boyfriend isn't dangerous." Bella states.
"Oh, yeah? What about your best friend, Jake? He's dangerous. Edward is dangerous, Emmett is dangerous, Jasper is especially dangerous with being the newest to be turned, hell, both sides are equally dangerous. So why don't you stop trying to control my life and leave me alone. Friends don't try and control their friends' lives." You hiss, walking away with the pack, angry and fuming.
