RK420 opened his eyes. He went through all the settings, making sure everything was working the way it was meant to. And once it was done, RK420 was just examining the area. RK420 was in a high tech shop, where other androids like himself were on display and being bought.

He was just looking around until he noticed a man walking in.. he looked professional. He wore an expensive yet not well known brand of clothing. He was talking with the android working at the counter.

It was weird to see someone wear something like that. Why buy something expensive if no one knows how much it costs? Normally, people follow some trend but not him. The android was in so much thought he didn't realize the man walk up to him with the android assisting him.

RK420 listened onto the conversation the two where having.

"RK420 is a great, new Android! They are great for around the house chores, taking care of people, shopping, and much more!" The android spoke in a high pitched voice. That sentence was probably programmed in the Android.

The man spoke up. "Alright.. are they good company?" The man spoke quietly, seeming to want to hide the fact he just said that.

The android thought for a moment, not eeally having an answer. "It is the newest piece of technology. This type of android is probably capable of giving edvice and good responses." The android smiled.
"RK420 would be great company."

The man looked to the android.
"He looks so real..." He spoke to himself before looking back that the worker. "Alright... Yeah, I will time him."

With a smile, the worker android looked to RK420. "RK420, register your name."
Then, the man spoke, looking at RK420. "Droid."

Droid responded, his LED flashing yellow for a moment. "Hello, my name is Droid."

~~~~~~~~~
Droid and the man where in the car. The man drove as silents filled the car.
"I never got your name. It would make it easier it I knew it." Droid spoke. He didn't sound robotic. But the newer android were just like that.
"Oh, my bad. My names Puffer... Nice to meet you Droid. " Puffer... That was a nice name. Droid couldn't help but noticed the apology. Why would be apologize to an android? And why would he apologize over something small like a name?
"Puffer is a beautiful name." Droid complemented, putting a smile on his face. Puffer didn't respond. He actually looked a little down and blinked a little faster than normal... Droid recognized he was blinking away tears. Obviously, Puffer didn't get many compliments. Droid made a note to compliment him more.
It only took a few minutes to reach Puffer's home. It was rather big. It was only one story but it looked like more then one person could live in it if they wanted too. Puffer parked the car and opened to door, stepping out. Droid followed, also getting out of the car.
Droid looked at the house for a moment, just seeing the exterior. Puffer noticed and spoke up. "... It isn't much but I works as a home." Droid nodded, agreeing that it worked.
Puffer looked at Droid for a moment before going to the front door, unlocking it with his key. When he got the door he walked it and held it open for Droid. Something about Puffer holding the door open for him made Droid's LED turn yellow for a moment as he walked in.
Androids didn't really get much of this. They were normally the one holding the doors. But this time, Puffer seemed to do it instead... It was weird.
Puffer closed the door behind Droid, locking it. Then, he glanced at Droid. "Umm make yourself at home I guess." He gave a small smile, seeming a little nervous. Droid was to confused with why Puffer acted like this. So, he spoke up about it.
"Why would you buy an Android if you don't put it to work? Most the time people buy them to help out or do things for them. But not you. Why?" Droid asked, looking confused with the whole situation.
Puffer was quite for a moment, just sitting down on the living room couch. Droid was about to drop it but then Puffer said something.
"I-i don't have many friends. If I can't make them, at least I can buy them... Plus, it feels a little weird to have something that looks a lot like a human doing anything I tell it.."
Droid was confused. He was still an android, incapable of emotions. Why would Puffer not use Droid like he was intended? Why would he just waist all that money just for a friend?
Droids eyebrows moved together. It sounded sad. Being lonely wasn't fun. Droid thought that because they were already talking, why not ask something else too?
"I noticed you forcing yourself not to cry in the car... Why's that?" Droid sounded genuine. Like he actually cared. Obviously, it was just his system making him sound sympathetic.
"... It been a while since I last gotten a complaint. I guess.. it was all just too much." Puffer shrugged, trying to push away the conversation. Droid picked up the small movement and stopped talking about it.
It was only a few seconds later the Droid once again brought it up. "Y'know, it could really harm your health holding back. Especially crying. Holding back, and not crying in a while could cause a few different problems." Droid just sounded like he wanted Puffer not to hold back.
"Really?" Puffer asked, picking his head up as he wondered more on the topic. "Yep." Droid responded, sitting down next to Puffer on the couch.
"It could really effect how you hold yourself together. It could effect your mood as well as you mental, and physical health... Doctors recommended you cry at least every so often." Droid continued on about the effects of not letting your emotions free.
"Wow, I didn't know it could get bad like that." Puffer huffed. It was meant to be more of a laugh but he didn't seem to have the energy.
"You teared up at a small compliment.. you should cry. It would really help you. In the state you are in, crying would make you feel better." Droid recommended. He was just giving his best idea.
Puffer shook his head. "No, no, I don't know about that." He sounded unsure. He also seemed a little nervous. "I don't want to cry." Puffer was already almost tearing up from Droid simply being concerned.
Of course, Droid caught it and decided that Puffer didn't have much of a choice in this situation. He wrapped his arm across Puffers shoulders. "..releasing your emotions could really help."
Puffer tried to move away. But his body was just so touch starved that the moment Droid's arm was around him, he sunk into the feeling. "Droid, I don't need it." Puffers voice was quieter and more high pitched then normal. He was already tearing up.
"Puffer, I just meet you but you seem like a great, amazing person. I don't want to see someone as amazing as you hurt. Please, just let it go for me..." Droid kept going.
It was those few sentences that got to Puffer. Tears started falling no matter how much Puffer wanted to hold them back. Tears feel and he just let Droid hold him. Droid on the other hand, just held Puffer closer to him.
~~~~~~~~~~~

No one knew how long Puffer was crying for. No one cared to much to care. But it was a whole before he stopped. He needed to cry and Droid was just glad it was out. Droid pat Puffers back, trying to comfort him.

All the crying really exhausted Puffer, making him close his eyes to try and sleep. Droid let this happen. He let Puffer sink into his arms and fall asleep. Droid let him sleep, as it was probably the first time in a long time he actually had a good one.

Droid smiled when he felt the even breathing that Puffer produced. He knew Puffer was safe and for that, he let himself power off until he would next be awake.
