LET THE GAMES BEGIN

*🖤*

You know those voices in your head telling you that there's something wrong with you and telling you it's your fault, that you're a mistake.

Do you hear the voices of the dead?

No?

Well I do, I've had the voices all my life. It's gift someone had once told me but actually it was a curse gifted from my mother and our witch coven. To them I was a mistake but to my dad and hades I was a miracle.

But how can you be a miracle and a mistake at the same time?

I constantly found myself asking the same question and I never got an answer. Not from hades, my dad, or even the gods themselves...

I was in my cabin grabbing the things I needed before Chiron would announce that it was time for capture the flag. When I started hearing them again, I slowly sat down letting out a few breaths trying to make them go away.

'Leiana Black'

'Devil Child'

'Chrysanthemum'

They voice's said repeatedly, the many nicknames I was given by the gods or even the campers. And some of them were even asking me for help.

A pounding headache formed quickly as I squeezed my head, shutting my eyes tightly.

Though I'm sure I could tell Chiron that I wasn't feeling well and I could sit this game out, I knew that this game was important to Annabeth and I wasn't going to let her do it alone even if Luke would be there helping.

Deciding against backing out at the last minute I finished grabbing my things and left my cabin. Silently hoping that the voices will go away soon.

As I walked down towards the tables where kids were eating lunch I saw Luke sitting with Percy at Hermes table. I guess I was staring for too long because Luke turned his head looking over his shoulder, but before he could noticed me staring I turned my head quickly and pretended I was looking for someone.

"Leia!" Luke called out to me.

Looking over at the to boys, I saw Luke waving his hand signaling me to come over there and Percy staring at me with curious eyes.
