regina george - heather. her meanness just gives off regina george and she's sassy like regina too. also both of them get karma in the end (regina getting hit by a bus and heather getting her head shaved).
gretchen wieners - sierra. hear me out, everyone's saying courtney but im sierra and here's why. gretchen knows everything about everyone and so does sierra. gretchens a total gossip and so is sierra. see? perfect.
karen smith - lindsay. lindsay is a total adorable airhead and so is karen. both of them are still super adorable! also karen and lindsay have trouble with a lot of things, like spelling or forgetting someones name. poor tyler btw
cady heron - courtney. literally cady in the movie is courtney! at first both of them are super nice, then they suddenly get mean (courtney getting kicked off the show unfairly and cady being with the plastics). after that they're mean mean (courtney getting cheated on and cady trying to take regina down) and they lose their friends (courtney loses scott and gwen and cady loses janis and damian) after that they become nicer and gain their friends back (courtney is unconfirmed but in my hc she became nicer). also the burn book = courtney's chart that mal leaked. change my mind.
aaron samuels - duncan. duncan literally flirted with heather and aaron dated regina for quite a while, then they found courtney and cady. but while aaron kisses regina in front of cady, duncan kisses gwen in front of tyler (who is not courtney but alejandro forces him to spill it). also my hc is that duncan is actually smart which is why hes in courtneys class.
janis ian - gwen. gwen and janis are literally the same change my freaking mind. janis and gwen love art, have been betrayed by cady and courtney and are both antisocial. and while janis is lesbian gwen is giving me some bi vibes so they could totally pass off as eachother ngl.
damian leigh - trent. idk trent and damian both give me gay vibes (i think damian is gay, in the 2024 musical remake he is, also his actor in the original movie came out* and for trent i ship trustin with a burning passion). also i think trent and gwen would be really good friends even after they broke up.
shane oman - alejandro. idk it just feels right, shane won spring fling king and i bet alejandro would, and if duncan and heather were together she would totally cheat on him for alejandro which is exactly what happens in mean girls (regina cheats on aaron with shane).
kevin g - harold. i totally bet if harold was in mean girls he would so join the mathletes. also i bet he acts exactly like kevin at his school to try and fit in. in the og mean girls movie janis and kevin end up together but in the 2024 remake they dont so im going with the 2024 remake here (sorry to the people who like the og version better).
