Opposites Attract? (Naegami)

-Warming up to him...?-

This chapter will take place a week after the 1st chapter, so that's why characters relationships might already seem different. Enjoy the story!

(Nobodies POV)

Naegi woke up around 5:00 AM and quickly stubbled up. He ran around changing getting ready for the day. He was clearly being loud enough to awaken an angry byakuya.
"Naegi why are you being so loud. Class starts at 7:30." An annoyed togami said.
"Well it's my second actual week here! So I don't want or have a excuse to be late! And also we have to go eat breakfast!" Makoto said surprisingly cheerful.
Togami stayed in bed.
"Are you not gonna get ready?"
"Why would I?"
"So we can go eat!" Makoto started to sound persistent.
"I always skip breakfast."
"Well not today!"
Makoto threw byakuya his suit for him to change into. Byakuya looked angry but then just sighed and changed into his clothes.
"Come on!"

Makoto pulled togami out of the dorm to the cafeteria. Which Byakuya wasn't surprised by this because makoto had this before, but surprisingly this time he did not pull his hand out.
"I can walk by myself you know."
Makoto ignored this comment and byakuya just rolled his eyes. When they got to the cafeteria Makoto and byakuya sat down with Asahina and Hagakure.
"Wow!? You got legs to sit with us? Impressive!" Hagakure chuckled.
"The only reason I agreed to come here was because I had nothing better to do."
"Surreee!" Asahina said jokingly.
While they were laughing Makoto was hugged from behind.

"Hi!" Maizonos voice was heard.
Byakuya disliked her. He didn't know why but when ever she was around him, he would automatically want to leave... especially when she was around Makoto.
"Hey... sayaka..!"
Makoto seemed to be uncomfortable with the hug but was too scared to say anything, he didn't want to upset her.
Sayaka sat down next to Makoto and talked to him every second she could. Byakuya groaned, her being here made him really anger so he got up to leave. When he walked away Makoto got up to follow him but maizono stoped him.
"Makoto you need to stop worrying so much about him! He's just a jerk!
"I-I know but... he seemed upset! It'll be quick... I promise!" Makoto responded while getting up, rushing to find Byakuya.

The first place Makoto checked was their dorm. Makoto is rarely in their dorm, so whenever Byakuya wanted to be alone, their dorm was a good option. When Makoto got to the dorm and penes the door Byakuya was at his desk again... reading...? No...Writing. Makoto stepped closer.
"Why did you leave..?" Makoto asked.
"What do you want." Byakuya seemed less cold... now just angry...
"I want to know why you left? Did I say something that offended you..?" Makoto seemed genuinely confused and also concerned.
"It was maizono." Byakuya said slightly mumbled.
"Huh...? What did she do..?"
"I really don't like that girl."
"Why...?" Makoto was trying to get answers.
"You asked why I left. I gave you an answer. Now leave." Byakuya sounded even angrier.
"but.." makotos voice softened .
"I said leave NOW." Byakuyas tone and volume of his voice made Makoto upset.
"Okay... bye togami."

Byakuya turned back around and put his head in his hands. He realized that now people are going to hate him for making Makoto sad. Not like they didn't already. But he brushed it off getting back to work. Makoto had ran to the bathroom and shut the door. He looked at himself in the mirror trying to calm himself down, wiping his face. He didn't want Byakuya to seem like a bad person to everyone else.
When he had finished calming himself down, he went back to the cafeteria and sat back down.

"So?" Asahina asked.
Makoto was still spaced out. Then he snapped back to reality.
"Huh...?"
"Did you find out why he left?" This time Hagakure asked.
"Oh... no." Makoto lied not wanting to tell everyone that Sayaka is the reason he left.
"What did I tell you! He's wouldn't want to talk." Sayaka said with a clearly annoyed tone.
After a few hours of classes and work, school had finally finished and Makoto rushed to his dorm knowing Byakuya was there. Completely forgetting about what had happened before.

"Hey! Byakuya..?" Makoto said.
"What." Makoto had gotten used to his cold tone.
"Hagakure is hosting a party on Saturday! Are you planning to come?"
"Hmm.... No." Makoto was disappointed.
"Why not? It'll be fun!"
"I prefer not to waste my time with commoners choices of amusement."
"Please!" Makoto was begging at this point.
After a few minutes Byakuya gave in.
"Sigh... fine. I'll go."
"Yes! Thank you!" Makoto hugged Byakuya and quickly rushed out of the room.
"Bye!" Makoto yelled.

Byakuya was just sitting There shocked. His mind was raising. Why did he hug me? Why do I feel like this? He shouldn't have done that! But why did I liked it?! Byakuya tried to get back to work but couldn't keep his mind off of things. He decided to just write in his notebook which he had been writing in already. You don't... need anyone... he thought. He laid his heads on his desk in silence... only thinking about what Makoto did... show affection.

—Time Skip to Saturday—
(Makotos POV)

I got up pretty early, since it was the day Hagakure decided to host the party. I was actually really excited! Since togami agreed to go! Which I did not think he would do! I got out of bed and changed. I turned to face Byakuyas bed. Should I wake him up...? He looks so... peaceful... and calm... wait... sorry I was just... got lost in my (gay) thoughts...! I decided to let him keep sleeping since the party wasn't until 4:00 PM or something like that. I left the dorm and headed to the cafeteria, the place was still decorated with valentines decorations because apparently this school celebrates the holidays threw out the whole month, but I thought everyone did that..? When I got to the cafeteria I saw kirigiri.

When I looked at her closely she looked nervous...? No... worried... flustered...? I decided to sit next to her and asked her...
"Hey what's wrong? You look... different form usual?"
"Oh.... Nothing." She responded.
"For a detective your a pretty bad liar... what's wrong?"
"Sigh... you know how we are going to have a party later today right."
"Right...?" I was still confused.
"I was... planning... to ask our Celeste..."
WHAT!?
"Huh?! Really?!"
"Yeah..." she sounded embarrassed.
"That's... great! You'd be perfect for eachother!"
"You think so...?"
"Yeah..!" I slowly realized that I'm the last person that should be giving relationship advice but oh well...
"Okay... I'll go for it." Kyoko said sounding more confident now. She soon walked off after a while, but there where still quite a few hours until the party would start... oh boy...
