3) Looking for answers

You woke up with a horrible headache. It was Monday, school starts in 4 weeks and you had nothing to do today. You realized that you were alone at home as you tried to remember what happened yesterday. The new silence in your house was something you'll definitely have to get used to.

After some time, you decided to clean the house to kill time, so you started to do the laundry. Suddenly, there was a flash and your memory of yesterday's party came back.

How could I forget those orange eyes?

You looked down your arm, hoping to see bruises as a verification, but nothing could be seen. You took a deep breath. Maybe the darkness and the alcohol tricked you, and the guy you thought was called Sunghoon didn't have orange eyes yesterday? You began to question your memories, which is why you decided to go to the location again, hoping to gain more information and clarity.

You took the bus, but because yesterdays party was quite outside your town, you had to walk the rest of the way. The birds were chriping and no cloud could be seen in the sky.

Perfect weather to go for a walk, but the hot sun is killung me, ugh

You walked on the side of the road. To your right and left was the dense and dark forest, but it was quite early, so it didn't scare you at all. After some time, you arrived at your destination.

Nobody is here. Great, now I can look around without getting disturbed.

You tried to open the door and to your surprise, it wasn't locked. You took a glimpse inside, but the only thing you could see were tons of trash and leftovers. Suddenly a cold breeze came up which made your hair swirl. You quickly turned around, but of course nobody was there. You were just too paranoid. You closed your eyes to calm down.

God Y/n, pull yourself together!

You silently closed the door again as you suddenly heard a voice coming from your right side. "Hey darling, what are you doing here all alone?" You flinched and your heart stopped beating for a second. You slowly turned your head to the right side. You saw Jay sitting on a bench in front of the house. "You are Y/n, right?", he asked with a grin.

You breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank God, it's just the dude from yesterday.

"Yah Jay, are you off your rocker, you scared me to death." you cursed as your tension decreased. "Besides, I could ask you the same thing. Why are you here?" you crossed your arms.

"Well, I saw you coming here and I wanted to see you again. Some of my brothers and I agreed that we had to find you again. And I didn't want to miss this opportunity", he explained with a dirty smirk. "To be honest, I was surprised seeing you here all alone".

"I can take care of myself, you know?" you said annoyed rolling your eyes.

"You are lucky. I have never smelt such a strong and sweet scent like yours", he told you as he stood up from the bench and started circling around you.

Scent? I didn't even use perfume today and I am super sweaty.

You noticed his extreme pale skin, it was almost white. You didn't see this yesterday, because of the flashing party lights, you assume. "You said something about your brothers? When did I meet them?", you asked confused. Jay was still circling around you like a predator around its prey. "You met them yesterday" he answered, but you couldn't remember.

"Enough small talk. I can't wait any longer, I need to find out if you taste as good as you smell." He stopped and was now standing in front of you.

'Taste? Does he mean kissing?' you wondered nervously.

He came closer, so you slowly took three steps backwards until you stood with your back against the wall of the house. You started to sweat. "I am sorry, but I need to go now". You wanted to go away, but Jay grabbed your wrist. "Not so fast, little one. Didn't you hear what I just said?" You swallowed.

He pulled you back and pressed you against the wall as you saw his eyes turning red. It was a dark, creepy red. You have never seen anything like this before. OR WAIT. Suddenly, you got a déjà vu with Sunghoon from yesterday. "What the fuck are you??" you screamed.

Jay opened his mouth, and you could see two white fangs. "You-You are a v-vampire?", you stuttered, while beads of sweat formed on your forehead. "Bingo" he said with a scary smirk.

He placed his mouth onto your neck."It took you a while, I thought you were a clever one. But you are actually pretty stupid"
Those had been his last words before he bit into your neck. The pain spread through your body, but you couldn't scream nor move. His grip was too strong, and every little movement hurt you even more, so you decided to endure it. You could feel the blood getting sucked out of your body, your vision went fuzzy, then it turned ouch black and you lost your consciousness.

-----Jay's pov-----

I closed my eyes to savor her blood even more.

This is crazy. I have never tasted something this delicious.

I just couldn't stop drinking her red liquid. I was in some kind of trance as suddenly a raven landed on the bench.

Argh...why can't they leave me alone for a minute?!!

I stopped and let go of her sweet neck, rolling my eyes. "What do you want Sunghoon. Leave me alone. Don't you see that I am having dinner right now?" I said annoyed not sparing him a glance. Then, the raven turned into Sunghoon, who was now leaning against the wall. "Leave her alive. Or did you forget about your brothers? We all want to try her blood, too." he reminded me." You will kill her if you don't stop now."

"Fine" I mumbled as I loosened my grip, which caused the girl to fall to the ground.

All of a sudden, a huge group of hikers came up the hill. "Fuck", I cursed as I quickly laid her down on the bench, so it looked like she was sleeping. I wiped the blood from her neck and my mouth. "Jay hurry! We have to leave" Sunghoon warned me.

As if i didn't see the hikers coming by myself. Ugh.

I looked at Y/n one last time, before we both disappeared into the dark forest. The last thing that could be heard was Sunghoon saying "You will get into trouble if Heeseung finds out that you didn't manipulate her."

Shut up Sunghoon, I know...
