Moonfall's POV
I sighed as I looked down at the moor where my clanmates rejoiced over Lillypaw—no, Lillypetal's—appointment as a warrior. I am so happy for her, but I wish StarClan had chosen me instead. How I became a loner, and how I turned into a dragon, I have no clue. All I know is that Lillypetal and I share a greater destiny than that of our clans. We must escape before the sun sets forever.
I shuffled nervously as I heard approaching pawsteps, and my heart skipped a beat when I caught sight of a familiar mottled pelt. Sol, I thought, feeling my claws instinctively dig into the earth beneath me as the tom slunk into ThunderClan camp. I remained rooted in place, watching silently as he stood there, waiting until the excitement over Lillypetal's newly appointed name had settled.
It grieved me that I could not prevent him from corrupting my language. Now, I was no longer a part of ThunderClan. Indeed, consider my appearance. I was a monster. I shuddered, then spread my wings and soared into the sky, attempting to put some distance between the lake and myself. I could not fathom running into another cat right now.
I soared high and far away from the lake territories, towards a valley not distant from it. It was open and breezy, a pleasant setting if I wished to conceal myself. I landed in a clearing and was startled by a sound, although I could not discern its origin. It was undoubtedly feline, but still... "Reveal yourself, I know you're there," I growled, yet the bushes remained silent. The air merely howled between the valley walls, leaving me soon in silence.
Then a voice spoke, "If you wish to save the Clans, you must reveal yourself first to them. StarClan does not have control over you, dragon. You are your own master. Show yourself to the Clans!" Then silence engulfed me once more.

I yawned as I lay on my back, wings splayed by my side and stomach comfortably full. Hunting was fruitful here in this valley, and the voice hadn't been as persistent as it had previously. I could now sleep undisturbed. Yet, I saved Lionblaze, and I longed for Lilypetal. "I am so sorry," I thought, gazing up at the sky as it slowly transitioned from day to night, with stars beginning to emerge. The warriors of StarClan blinked down at me from above.
Soon, my eyes slipped closed, and darkness enveloped me.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a familiar setting, not in StarClan, nor in my clan's camp. I was nowhere, yet everywhere. Then, I caught sight of a familiar mottled tom, and my heart raced. Why was I seeing him? The tom turned, his golden eyes piercing my soul. "I see you've finally come to my dreams, Dragon. I knew there was something about you since Moonfall, but I didn't foresee this." He gestured towards my towering form. "It was inevitable, but I should have foreseen it, shouldn't I? Now, how do you like my little realm?"
I hissed at him and lowered my head, staring directly into his eyes. "I owe nothing to you, Sol. Just leave the clans alone!" I snapped. He chuckled, but then his expression darkened as he snarled at me. "I nearly killed your kit. Is that why you're reacting this way to me? Don't you see that I love you, Moonfall?" I blinked in confusion at his confession and backed up as he circled me, his tail tracing beneath my chin. Despite my size, I sat on my haunches. "Can't you see all that I can offer you? I possess powers that you do not, dear Moonfall. I can bend StarClan to my will if I so desire." He smirked, standing in front of my large talons and placing his smaller paw on one of them. "Don't you wish to understand the extent of your abilities? Do you not realize the power you hold?"
"You can't love me," I said slowly. "I already have a mate and kits. I am content where I am." Sol snorted, stepping away, his tail lashing. "Oh, really? Don't you see what you have become, how monstrous you are now? Do you think ThunderClan, or any clan, for that matter, will accept you? Not even your kin will embrace you." He hissed, then turned on me, pressing me to the ground with a paw at my throat. I gasped, feeling overwhelmed by this insignificant cat moving me around so effortlessly. "You do not know what I can and will do to make you mine, Moonfall. I will surpass even StarClan's wishes to deem you worthy." He leaned closer, his muzzle near mine, before pressing his lips to mine. I whimpered, unable to break free, and so I grew passive, allowing him to kiss me.
He soon stepped away, and I rose to my feet once more, my wings shuddering, teeth chattering. "Oh, don't appear so horrified, dear. It wasn't that terrible, was it?" he asked, weaving around me. I huffed but did not respond. Suddenly, the space around us began to swirl with dark and light clashing. Sol sighed, "Oh no, it seems you are awakening, dear." And that was the last thing I heard before darkness once again enveloped me.
