Sarah hates school. She only goes because she knows she has her best friend, Muffin. Muffin has been for her through the move, the death of her father, the remarriage of her mother to a horrid man, and being the new girl in class.
She makes good grades. The other pupils can be rather cruel.
"Hey, long ears, hey, curly locks!" They tease her as she enters the classroom.
Sarah sits in the back. She pays attention as the teacher talks about frogs. She has always been a visual learner, so she draws a frog in her science notebook and then writes her notes.
Little did she know her day was about to get worse, way- worse.
The story continues in Chapter 2 Muffin
Until then,
Bye-bye,
Little Owlets!
Summer out!
