Sarah was glad the next day was Saturday. She woke early after a little sleep the previous night. She ate breakfast, dressed, and went to look for her lost pet. She made posters that read: "Lost Dog: Name: Muffin, Breed: Hound Dog, Color: White and red, If found please return to Sarah at 335 Washington Lane, South Isle North Dakota." She included a photo of him at the bottom and a phone number in case someone found him.

She printed off so many copies it cost her $4.50.  She hoped her mother would not be upset with her spending so much on the posters.

She went home feeling bummed out that even after passing out posters, she was no closer to finding her pooch.

She heard the phone ring and immediately answered it. "Hello, this is Sarah."

"No, I do not want to buy an electric crayon sharpener."

The whole day went mostly the same because she didn't want to buy any gadgets. Yes, she only got telemarketers. She sighed.

She was never going to see her lost dog again.

Later that night, she heard a whimper outside her window. Not that cat again.

It was not her day or night. Agh!

She heard it again. This time it sounded different than the cat.

She lifted the window and looked out. It was not a cat. She climbed out carefully to look closer at the animal. It was a dog.

She picked it up to hold it close to her chest.

She brought it inside and washed it.

            She closed the window.

Soon she and the dog fell asleep. It was not Muffin. It was a Yorkie she found.

The Yorkie made her feel a little less sad about her missing pet.
