Are we still friends?

You changed.

Hi, my name is Yuni! I was born from China, Nanjing but I had moved into Las Vegas. When I was six years old. I met this boy named Luke. He was my childhood friend since Pre-K. We became more close together but when it came to 6-7th grade. We became more distance since he made new friends with the mean kids in middle school.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

At the cafeteria:
I was on my way to go to my friends to our table in th cafeteria, but untill I tripped into someones leg!

Luke: "Oops! Didn't see you coming here"
Luke and his friend laughed.

I got food all over my clothes and I felt everyones eyes were on me! I felt so embarrassed that I didn't knew what to do anymore, but I noticed someone coming to help me.

?: "Hey, are you okay?" He said.

Yuni: "I'm fine. I don't need you help" I muttered.

?: "Are you sure you're okay? You got food all over your clothes" He said.

Yuni: "It's fine. I'll be okay"

?: "Okay.. If you say so"
He went to go back to whatever he was doing. In the mean time, I went to the bathroom and fix myself.

A girl came out of the stall, and saw me.

?: "Hey I saw what happened at the cafeteria an I was wondering if you were okay" She said.

Yuni: "I'm fine. It's just Luke that keeps messing around with me"

?: "Yeah I saw him tripped you. You guys were like.. Really, really good friends. What happened to you guys?" She said.

Yuni: "Well.. He started to change and leave me with another friend group" I said.

?: "I see. Well I got to go to class now. It was really nice seeing you!" She said.

Yuni: "See ya!"

HOURS LATER

The bell rang.

I went to pack my things up and went to go out. I was walking down the hall and I saw Luke.

Luke: " Haha. I still can't believe that you accidentally tripped over my shoes" He laughed.

Yuni: "You.. shouldn't have done that. You know the teacher might expell you-

Luke: " Who the heck cares? No one does, Yuni"

Yuni: " Well I do. And you know I actually cared for you when we were in Pre-K"

Luke: " Okay so? What do you want me to do about it. It's not like we both care for eachother. And why would I even care about you?" He said.

Yuni: " You changed.. It was.. a promise for both of us-

Luke: "I don't care anymore. We're not even friends. And I don't even want u as a friend. You're useless"

I got really hurt when he said that. My tears were about to burst out of my eyes..
