Tale 42, Old Hank

Thad was tired about where the heck is Uzi going to, as so he sneak out from the outpost and wandering off to the jungle alone, Hoping to find Uzi and support all of her ambitious plan.|

As he went into deeper to the jungle, he went to a previous location... which is the sawmill where Indigo had worked on. He comes by to survey the location... He saw an old mansion which is appeared to be an old hut.

Thad Knocked the door three times reveals about an old worker drone, dressed as an old lumberjack that ready to tell stories to childrens in the dark

"Who are you?" Ask Thad

"Oh Hi.... Hank's my name. What's up?"  He asked.

"Hank?" asked Thad confused

"Yea.... does my name's farmilliar?" he asked

Thad immidiately remembered that the person that he was talking to was the same person when he asked where was Indigo few days ago which is the same as... He was his manager instead

"Oh yea... youre the same wood lumberjack bussiness owner... how I can forgot?" Thad's remembered about it. As such he started to greet himself in front of him, 

"Wanna come to my house for a while?" He asked
"Yea... sure..." Thad agreed

Thad and Hank went to his hut where it is appeared to be a survival equipment store on the first floor which is filled by standard small equipment stores such as shelves that contains bags, Medics, pickaxe, flashlight, oil supply and also a hunting rifle plus the magazine and ammo

"How long you collecting all of this?" Ask Thad

"Well... It was... Years ago when hunting is a common job here" said Hank

"And why it stopped?" Thad asked again

Hank continues
"Since the Disassembly Drone arrives, all of the workers just being cowards. They believe if they were safe inside the walls they have made resulting to isolation."

Thad just silenced about it. Realizing if the WDF had taken too far for their desicions... He immidiately remembers about Frost and why they were separated, which is because of ideology and believes to their own selves. Both of them do believe about taking actions, However, Frost believe the scouts were able to do direct action as he joined the scouts, But Thad didn't and still have positive thoughts on WDF

Hank breaks the silence as he looks at him
"I know its hard, Because our relatives always separated in any problems"

"Well... I guess so" Thad gave up to him

Hank saw his commitment to stand up and continue his journey, But since the night has come, he decided to offer him a one night stay for a while so the storm could passed later on

"Wanna stay for this night?" Hank asked

Thad thinking for a while untill....
"Yea... sure" Thad nodded the offer

As The two prepared for their night sleep Hank gaves hot oils and batteries for midnight survival

"Snacks ready!" Hank greeted him on the front

Thad greeted him with a smile and help hi  with the glasses

after the midnight snack going on Thad just enjoy the view.... about an empty landscape buried with snowfall.... anything but all silent and peace. But somehow Uzi's safety is worrying him and so he decided to ask

"Hey.... Mr Hank.... how did Indigo.... know you?" Thad asked

He tells his story

"Before I know him.... I know his father... he's really hated by everyone because of his posession of the solver fearing he might kill someone. And so... he worked with me as a lumberjack... Both of us bringing woods, hunting... and yet camping of course in the wildlife

"What about Indigo aside from his father?" Thad asked

Hank continues
"After his father died...... I had no choice than adopt him... but hes somehow loyal to me... he does really get his job well.... he helps me hunting... and yea... other good stuff like he and his dad do"

Thad somehow focused his eye to which is appears to be an id card of a test subject. Realises about it was similar to Nova's id, he asked again

"Uhhhh sir? ever heard about the Absolute solver?"

"You saw my tag eh?" Hank asked by curious

Thad nodded

Hank smiles and started his story

"The Absolute Solver is one of the most advanced AI and also.... Really mysterious due to its supporting elements.... Some of them considered to be... Unatural.."

"Unatural?" Ask Thad

Hank continues

"Well they merged biological elements and also technology in the same time... Which is weird to do so...."

"Well .. if its about vampirism like eating our oil is probably normal...." Said Thad

"No..... Not that" said Hank as he continued the story

"These mutations can result in very surreal and unnatural effects in the infected drone, such as being able to reconstruct their decayed forms, causing them to unintentionally convert mechanical material into organic substances and even allowing certain drones to cheat death in ways that should be impossible."

Thad remembered about what happened to Uzi when she transformed into her solver form which is combined biological and technological matters in the same time

As Hank continues suddenly... He heard a knock on the door, the two went downstairs and as they found out.....

When they open the door it was Khan, he said was frightened about whats going on outside

"Mr Doorman.... I never knew you went here" Said Thad

"I was looking for you!" Said Khan

"Alright you two... Whats going on?" Hank asked

"Were... Looking for Uzi but we went separated because somebody is chasing us!"  Said Khan

"Who's chasing you guys?!" Said Hank as he challenged the guy with his shot gun. But as he comes out....

A railgun shoots one of the trees Infront of him.... Now he knews if these people is messing the wrong person
