Falling In Love [Sanzu X Reader]

Chapter 6: Unexpected Encounter

Last night when they were walking back to their homes. Y/n suddenly remembered something; Hina's invitation to a double date.

She remembered that Sanzu seemed to know Hanagaki, she figured there would be no dead air if they hung out. 

But then again, she didn't want to impose, and so she continued to walk and listen to Sanzu's yapping.

"You keep looking at me," Now it was Sanzu's turn to look at her. 

She smiled confused. "Do I?" 

"Yeah, you do," He stopped in front of her and kept eye contact despite Y/n averting her gaze. "Come on, tell me what's bothering you,"

"Nothing's bothering me," She brushed it off and tried to walk past him but was, of course, blocked by him.

"I'll hold my breath til you tell me what it is," He childishly threatened.

She raised a brow. "What are you, 6?"

He only raised his brow back at her and hummed, he has his cheeks puffed up as he held his breath for her.

"Stop that, if you pass out, I won't carry you back," She crossed her arms but he remained in his position. "I'm serious Sanzu, It's nothing,"

"Really?" He wasn't doubting her, rather he was just confused. "I'm usually good at reading people,"

Y/n chuckled. "I think we're both just tired," 

They continued walking and soon stood in front of their houses. The sun was already halfway down the horizon as they bid each other goodbye.

Y/n dropped her body down on her bed and stared blankly at the ceiling, her heart was thumping crazy and so were her thoughts. 

Did she really just consider asking Sanzu out? 

Who was she kidding? 

Sanzu's a celebrity, there was no way he'd agree to go out with her, right? Yes, there was no way. 

She isn't familiar with celebrity dating rules, or if there was such a thing. Plus, Sanzu probably has someone already and they could've been dating secretly... OH THAT'S ROMANTIC!

Ahem, anyway...

But seriously, would Sanzu even agree to such an... intimate meeting, NO-! It's not intimate... it's just a friend hangout.

Friends are an intimate relationship though. 

Relationship.

Speaking of a friend hangout... 

WHAT JUST HAPPENED IN THE LASER TAG CENTER?! WAS THAT NORMAL? 

She swore to the heavens her heart almost exploded.

Y/n blinked and then sat up, there was a voice in her head that suddenly shut her thoughts down. 

'He only sees you as a friend'

The way Sanzu looked so blank when those strangers asked them if they were a thing was the only evidence she needed for that thought. 

Oh how suffocating to think about.
