Jesus can Change Your Life. He is the one who can make the Drug Addict clean. He can make the Blind man see. He can give you hope and be set free. An example of Jesus Changing someone's life, is the Guitarist of Korn and Love of Death. Brian Head Weltch.
Brian "Head" Weltch was someone who was addicted to Meth and Porn. He was always touring, and his band Korn was one of the best-known Heavy Metal Bands out there. I can't blame him. He has so much Pressure, if he messed up the whole world knew about it.
In his book "Save Me from Myself", He says a friends emailed him the verse Matthew 11:28-29, and he said, he felt something. Later the same friend gave him a bible, and he read it convicted him. His friend later invited him to church, and the pastor asked the church "Would anyone like to accept Jesus as Your Savior???" Brian raised his hand. This was all over the news. The more Brian dug into the Word of God the more his addiction failed, and Jesus Won. His addiction stopped and hes been clean of drugs since.
This is an Awesome example of How Jesus can Change people lives. There where a lot of famous People who were offered his grace and Forgiveness, just to name a few, Juice World, Prince, Michel Jackson and the well-known singer and guitarist for Nirvana, Kurt Cobain. With how well they where known They were told about Jesus at some point. Juice world was a Christan but fell away for fame. But he could still have come back to the Good news and truth of our Lord Jesus.
A lot of people in America need Jesus, like the poor man you see on the side of the road. But we are sitting in out homes Sharing Jesus when we have the chance. Why not make a meal, put it in a old container and give it to him?? This could at least give the poor man food. It's the least you could do, and try to get to know the man, make a friendship with him, that could lead him to know the good love of Jesus.
A good example of Someone who needed Jesus is Kurt Cobain. He was the guitarist and singer of the best selling rock band known as Nirvana. He was, so broken, the way he died, was he had an overdose, and killed himself. This breaks my heart. But if he has Jesus then his world would be different.
But lets lot just look at famous people, this is kinda like point fingers, but they make a good example. Lets look at you now, If Jesus is not in your life, How is it?? Stressful? Pain?
That's all normal, We are not on the place The Lord wanted us to be- On his side. We need to thrive for the Lord.
David often Called out to the Lord, and his life was Godly. That's what We Should Do.
Romans 8:13: "For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live."
We need to put to death our old selves to become the new glorious person from whom God origianily wanted to make before we've fallen from Him. The line "This one goes to the castaways Who break their backs slaving every day" This means, if your stuck in a problem, Addiction or anything its destroying you. Consider this verse from Romans
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
When Addiction Happens it's the devil trying to attack you. Peter says this
"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5:8
and Jesus says this ""The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." - John 10:10"
It is the Devil trying to take you down. But In these Verse you can see we have the Power of Christ, to not let them. He is the one who gives life. Jesus is a lamb. But he can kill a lion. Many Lions. It's like David and golith, a little boy killing someone with a stone. BUT jesus always has God with him and can do that to everyone all the time. If you trust him, you can do that to. You can do more than that. You can Move mountains, whether it be real mountains or be fake mountains that hold it back
When We have Jesus on our side, we no longer must break out back sinning. We have the Power to tell the sin "GET BACK OR JUST GET OUT" it will probably want to get out, because it will know you now have DOMINION over it and get scared and flee. This is What Jesus Does. HE CAN HELP YOU AND HE WANTS TO!!! YOU JUST HAVE TO LET HIM!
The human mind often does not like, Letting Things help up in less we like it. For me, its Rock n' Roll, or Metal music. Mostly Skillet, Ashes Remain, Fight The Fury or Ledger, But am I Trusting the Lord??
No. Often times humans distract themselves, I have the thoughts of trusting God, but I like being independent try hiding it from God, because I'm embarrassed. But the truth is, He already knows. It like the Story of Adam and Eve, they ate the fruit God told them not to, they saw there nakedness and they were ashamed. God knew the whole time they where naked, God new them and he loved them, but they hid. God has to find them himself and asked they where are they.
Sometimes Trusting God can be hard, but its worth it. Ask your self How do I trust God?? i am going to explain how in the next few chapters.
