The halls of Hogwarts were buzzing with excitement as students made their way to their next classes. For Harry, however, the day had taken a dark turn. As he walked alone, lost in his thoughts, he found himself confronted by a group of Gryffindor students led by Ron Weasley.
"Well, well, look who it is," Ron sneered, his cronies snickering behind him. "The traitor himself."
Harry's heart sank as he realized he was outnumbered. "Ron, please, I don't want any trouble," he pleaded, his voice shaky with fear.
"What's that!Is that a nappy?You really are a baby"Ron laughed"I think baby harry needs to use it"
Ron got Seamus finnagun to push his bladder so hard that urine exploded inside his new 'underwear'"O-okay we are done now right?please Ron we were friends..."Harry pleaded
But Ron was relentless. With a cruel grin, he lunged forward and shoved Harry against the wall, his friends joining in to deliver a barrage of punches and kicks. Harry cried out in pain as he tried to defend himself, but the blows kept coming. It felt like an eternity before the assault finally ceased. Harry lay on the ground, battered and bruised, as Ron and his friends laughed and walked away, leaving him alone in the corridor.
Unconscious and bleeding, Harry was discovered by Draco and Snape, who had been searching for him after he failed to show up for his next class. Horror etched on their faces as they saw the extent of Harry's injuries.
"Merlin's beard," Snape muttered, his hands trembling as he examined Harry's bruises. "This is beyond unacceptable."
Draco's face was pale with shock as he helped Snape carry Harry to the nearest empty classroom. Together, they laid him gently on the floor and began to assess his injuries.
As Snape waved his wand to heal Harry's bruises, he couldn't shake the sinking feeling in his stomach. This wasn't the first time he had seen bruises like these on Harry, and he suspected it wouldn't be the last.
Once Harry was healed, Snape and Draco waited anxiously for him to wake up. It felt like an eternity before Harry finally stirred, his eyes fluttering open as he groaned in pain.
"Harry, can you hear me?" Snape asked, his voice laced with concern.
Harry blinked, trying to focus through the haze of pain. "Professor Snape? Draco?" he murmured, his voice weak.
Snape nodded, relief flooding his features. "You're going to be alright, Harry," he assured him, his tone gentle.
But as Harry began to regain his senses, he felt a familiar sense of panic rising within him. Memories of past trauma flooded his mind, leaving him gasping for air as he struggled to push them aside.
"Harry, it's okay," Draco said, his voice soothing as he placed a hand on Harry's shoulder. "You're safe now."
With Draco's help, Harry was able to calm down and focus on the present. As he lay on the floor, he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Snape and Draco for their kindness.
Later that evening, Dumbledore summoned Snape and Harry to his office for a private meeting. As they sat before him, Dumbledore's expression was grave.
"Harry, I've been made aware of the incident that occurred today," Dumbledore began, his voice gentle but firm. "It's clear that something needs to be done to ensure your safety."
Harry's heart pounded in his chest as he waited for Dumbledore to continue. He knew what was coming, but that didn't make it any less terrifying.
"I believe it would be best for you to be resorted into Slytherin," Dumbledore said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Harry's breath caught in his throat as the weight of Dumbledore's words sank in. Resorted into Slytherin? The thought filled him with dread, but he knew he had no choice but to comply.
As they left Dumbledore's office, Harry felt a surge of panic rising within him. But Snape was there to offer his support, guiding him gently back to Snape's quarters.
As Snape helped Harry change out of the soiled nappy, a heavy silence hung in the air between them. Harry's mind raced with conflicting emotions, from fear and uncertainty to gratitude for Snape's support in the midst of chaos.
"Harry," Snape began, his voice low and hesitant. "There's something we need to discuss."
Harry's heart sank as he braced himself for what was to come. He knew that Snape had a way of getting to the heart of matters, no matter how uncomfortable they may be.
"What is it, Professor?" Harry asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Snape hesitated for a moment, his gaze fixed on Harry with an intensity that made him squirm uncomfortably. "I've noticed that there's something... troubling you," Snape said carefully. "Something from your past that you haven't shared with anyone."
Harry's stomach churned at the mention of his troubled past with the Dursleys. He had hoped to keep that part of his life hidden from Snape, but it seemed that the professor had seen through his facade.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about," Harry stammered, his voice trembling with fear.
Snape sighed heavily, his expression growing more serious. "Harry, I'm not blind," he said firmly. "I've seen the bruises, the scars. I know that things haven't been easy for you.Not to mention you are are 14 but the size of a first year!"
Harry's throat tightened as he fought back tears. He had spent years burying his pain and pretending that everything was fine, but now faced with Snape's unwavering gaze, he couldn't deny the truth any longer.
"I-I don't want to talk about it," Harry whispered, his voice barely audible.
Snape's expression hardened as he regarded Harry with a steely resolve. "Harry, I can't help you if you don't tell me what's going on," he said, his voice taking on a tone of authority. "And if you continue to refuse, I'll have no choice but to resort to more... drastic measures."
Harry's heart pounded in his chest as he realized what Snape was implying. Veritaserum, the truth serum known for its potent effects. The thought of having his deepest secrets laid bare filled him with dread.
"Professor, please," Harry pleaded, his voice trembling with fear. "I-I can't..."
Snape's expression softened slightly as he regarded Harry with a mixture of pity and understanding. "Harry, I know this isn't easy for you," he said quietly. "But you need to understand that I'm only trying to help."
Harry felt a surge of conflicting emotions as Snape's words sank in. Part of him wanted to open up and finally release the pent-up pain and trauma that had been weighing him down for years. But another part of him was terrified of the consequences, both for himself and for the fragile relationships he had built at Hogwarts.
"Please, Harry," Snape said, his voice softening with genuine concern. "I promise you, whatever you tell me will be kept in the strictest confidence. But you need to trust me."
With a heavy heart, Harry nodded in resignation. He knew that he had no choice but to comply with Snape's demands, no matter how daunting they may be.
As Snape left the room, Harry was left alone with his thoughts. Despite the fear and uncertainty that lay ahead, he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, he could find a way to navigate the challenges that lay ahead with Snape's support by his side.
