I let out a horrified scream. I sobbed into her chest. I heard a heartbeat! She was alive! "Cody there's a heartbeat! She's alive!" I screamed in happiness. We quickly grabbed her and put her in the truck. Cody was going 80 mph in a 50 mph zone. It's a wonder we didn't get pulled over. I'm pretty sure all the police are looking for the tall man though. We finally reached the hospital. "Help, we need help over here!" Cody screamed. The nurses came over and took her away. We waited in the waiting room for 5 hours straight. I stayed in Cody's chest sobbing the whole time. Then, a doctor came over. "How is she?'' I asked already knowing the answer. "She is in pretty ruff shape and we are not sure if she will make it, but there is really no way to tell, we will go into surgery with her in 10 minutes. We don't know if this will help, but it's really the only choice we have.

My eyes were swollen from crying so much. I just could not stop imagining her face when we hit her. "It's all my fault!" Cody yelled. "If I was paying attention maybe I would not have-" "None of this is your fault!" I interrupted. "Don't ever say that this is your fault! It's the sick person who kidnapped her's fault!" I screamed. He hugged me and started crying. I gave never seen him cry since we last broke up. He kissed me and told me he loved me. He always does but just to get it into my head that he does. The doctor left and we all sat back down. Will she be ok? Will she live? Will I ever see her again? I could not live with the last image of her i seen. She was all covered in blood and it's the worse I have ever seen her. She looked tired and hungry. She had definitely lost weight. What kind of sick person would do this to a innocent 14 year old girl!? WHY!? Cody broke me from my mind. "You ok?" he asked. "NO!" I said. "Sorry I am just tired." I explained. "Why don't you try to get some sleep." he said. I laid down on his legs and closed my eyes. "Taylor?" a sweet voice said. It was one of my dear friends, Shelby. I got up and gave her a huge hug. oh, have i missed her! She was one of my close friends along with Trina. We use to go over to each others houses all the time and watch movies and eat popcorn. The last time I seen her was at my birthday party. We all had a blast. The doctor came back over with no expression on his face.  "She.......She is gonna be okay!"
