Jacob and Faye were five hours into their trip back to Forks. They had been listening to the radio while Jacob drove. Stopping at gas stations and stores in order to eat or use the bathroom. Faye was getting bored as they drove without much talking. They were tired and their butts hurt from sitting.

She remembered that Greg had given her a book, the weirdest interaction that was.

She looked into her tote bag which she packed for things to entertain herself with during the trip and quickly pulled it out. She began to unwrap it when Jacob spoke up, "What's that?"

"Some book Greg gave me, goodbye gift", he nodded in understanding choosing to focus back onto the road. His mind was swirling with thoughts of the things soon to happen back home.

She opened the book and the first thing she saw was a letter, her eyebrows furrowed. But she read it anyway.

___
Dear Faye,

If you're reading this, it means something has happened to you, I have died or something of the sorts. I never thought I would give it to you unless I felt something was truly wrong. I have known you ever since you've moved into this town. And ever since, I've noticed the differences between you and everyone else.

You're a beautiful and kind young woman, with a heart of gold. Yet the glow you radiate is like one I've never seen in any of my years of living. I had my suspicions about you since I met you, yet I put it to the back of mind because I thought I was wrong. Perhaps you were just the one extraordinary human being there ever was and my old brain was failing me.

But I was proven wrong. I headed to your place one summer day, simply to deliver a new set of books along with some cut meats I was instructed to deliver. Upon arriving to your home I knocked, only for you to not answer. I walked to the back and I saw the sight of a lifetime. Beautiful glowing wings, shining in the sun's rays protruding from your back.

Oh how I've never seen something as wonderful and utterly magical Faye.

I thought my eyes were failing me, until you flew above the ground with those beautiful wings and used your hands to control water.

I ran back home. To look through books and books, trying to find an answer. It took me ages before I found something that explained what you were. You were a fairy. And among other things. I hoped you figured that out. But incase you didn't, here it is. A book about your kind.
