SEBASTIAN

The first thing that came into my vision was the hard, stone ground. My eyes could barely open, as if someone had glued them on, and I was having a hard time clarifying what I was seeing. The smell of blood hitting my nose made me sick for the first time. There wasn't a single part of my body that didn't hurt.

I started to regain consciousness, realizing that my arms were tied. I was on my knees on the floor and my arms were chained to the ceiling by my sides.

After Tom texted me, the pain from the hit to the back of my head mixed with the other hits I had received. Tom managed to beat the hell out of me without hiding his anger.

Maybe I didn't think the week would end without him doing something, but I didn't expect him to reveal his secrets and play so fast. If I had known I would be beaten, I wouldn't have worn white.

When I realized that I was not alone in the room, I tried to raise my head and look at the person in front of me. I didn't know how long it took for my consciousness to shut down but it seemed like it could shut down again at any moment.

My eyes found Tom, standing in front of me. I tried to sit upright, the chains on my arms jingling with my movement.

"Where is she?" I asked. The last time I saw Faye, she had fainted and Tom was walking out of the room with her in his arms. It pained me that she saw me like this. And that she now knows who I am. I have heard their conversation a little bit and even though I shouted after her, I couldn't reach her and fainted again.

I was going to kill Tom for this.

He had an amused smile on his face. "Hello to you, too." His smile was replaced by a look of disgust as he examined my face, which was not visible from blood. "I'm letting you go today."

"Where is Faye?" I asked again. I would stay in this fucking place for days if I had to but I needed to know he didn't hurt her.

Tom rolled his eyes at my lack of reaction and sighed. "She's fine."

"I want to see her," I said, but he only gave me a look as if to say, Do you really think I'll let that happen?

"Unfortunately, you can't," he replied. "In fact, you won't be able to see her for a long time." He carefully examined my eyes, which looked at him incomprehensibly. He was curious about my every reaction to his next sentence. "She's coming to Paris with me tonight. And before you ask, I'm not forcing her. She comes completely of her own volition."

I didn't believe a single word he said. Faye was here. She had seen me. There was no way she could go to Paris with him. Son of a bitch was going to kidnap her, too.

"You're lying," I said. If he couldn't see the hatred in me until now, I knew he could see it now. "She would never come with you."

He slowly crouched down in front of me, bringing our faces level. He had an expression like he felt sorry for me, but his only purpose was to make fun of me. "You think you know her so well, don't you?" he asked. "You spent two days with her and you thought you could make her forget me." He tilted his head. "And you failed," he said, mocking me, as if a part of him felt sorry for me. "We talked today and solved our problems. We decided to give it another try."

My stomach tightened. He was lying. Faye wouldn't return to him. She wouldn't after everything he did. He was only saying these to hurt me. The physical pain wasn't enough for him, now he was trying to break my heart.

I hated him. I hated him for everything he took from me, everything he took from my life. He had destroyed me, and now he was going to destroy Faye.

I rushed forward angrily and tried to attack him, but the chains on my arms stopped me and made me fall. Tom didn't even move reflexively. He knew I couldn't reach him.
