Valteines Day Pt. 3

(Sorry for the long wait! I had my consoling for a while and school...it's just pain.)

The girls stood from each other as they stared at each other in shock. "V-Velvet?" "O-Orchid...I, uh.." "And this is when I leave and let you two be alone." KayKay said as she was about to float away. "What- This is where you've been all this time? Living with the trolls, the same species who you use for your fake music career? And her!" Orchid pointed at KayKay as she was about to leave. "You told us that you and your friends were on some spiritual retreat." She said, "Namaste." KayKay said with her hands crossed. "I thought you were in jail." "I got better?" Velvet said sheepishly. "Okay, Orchid, Velvet has something to tell you." "You do?" She asked, "I-I...uh..um..."

"Look in the boxes, Orchid." "Boxes?" She went to the bushes and noticed some boxes with multiple love notes; all. addressed to him but she found one that's from their high school years. 'She had a crush on me after all these years?' Orchid thought and sighed. "Velvet...is this true?" "I..I have no idea what you're talking about- I was just-" "Velvet...say the truth.." She said, Velvet stuttered through her words and looked at KayKay as she nodded slightly before she sighed. "Yes...it's true." "What- Why? Why didn't you tell me about any of this before you tried to kill those trolls and faked your music career? Why not practice anyways?" Orchid said,

"I...I thought it would be a shortcut to success and to get what I wanted so, I won't be nobody...and I thought it would impress you." Velvet said, "Vel's...I was already impressed by your talent but after finding out that you faked the fame and your career, I just can't. I was heartbroken." Orchid said, "I knew it..." Velvet drops the boxes on the ground and walks away while looking down. "Velvet..." KayKay said but she just walked away. "Orchid, I know you're upset at her about what happened but in the beginning, she really wanna be with you but she doesn't know how to express or even how to tell you while she was in her moment of fame." She said,

"But even if she does, she doesn't even show remorse to anyone, even to her own brother....sometimes. Why would she bother to give me something for Valentine's Day?" Orchid asked, "Because she loves you. She actually loves you but she was scared. She was scared that you would judge her for loving a girl, look in those boxes and you'll know what I'm talking about." KayKay said before she floated away. "Because villains weren't born to be that way like Velvet did...it's because the past affected them to be one." She went away while Orchid thought about what she said, then she looked into the bushes to see many love notes, gifts, flowers and many pictures of them when they were younger.

She picked one up that was written earlier and read it. "Oh...Velvet."

Floyd and Veneer peeked out from the top of the mushroom and saw Poppy and Branch chatting the Mount Rageoens while they were about to leave after the tour. "That's it...It's over. He'll never know my true feelings for him." Veneer groaned as he slid down from the mushroom. "No, it's never too late for love. You got all of the stuff you need and you wrote a little something for him, right?" Floyd said, "Yeah, but what happens if he doesn't accept it? What happened when he rejected me?" He said worriedly. "Oh, for the love of- Veneer, how would you know if you don't just try it?" He asked, "That's the point! I can't and nothing will change my mind!" Veneer exclaimed.

But as he walked off, he accidentally tripped over a stone that made him slide out from behind the mushroom, slide down the hill and tumble until he landed face first on the ground while holding the flowers and gifts over his head. "Ugh...my face.." He groaned, "Veneer?" He froze and slowly looked up to see Kid Ritz looking down at him. "R-Ritz.." "Wait, this is where you've been all this time?" He questioned, "Uh...i-it's not what it looks like." "You know you've broken out of prison, hid away into the big forest, living with the trolls who you used to fake your career?" He said, "Okay, it is what it looks like but let me explain." Veneer said,
