Moonshine really wasn't in the mood to pretty much do anything. She had just had a dream about her mother, who had died in the last solar eclipse. She had dreamed of her soft tongue, licking her to sleep, her soft brown eyes, assuring that she was going to be okay. The dream had made her feel so content, even when she knew that the wars were going on. She jumped right out of her day dream when a young cat started howling. "Moonshine! Moonshine!" yelled a pale sand colored cat named Dunerise. "It's Starfall!" Starfall, the leader of the Moon tribe, was on the ground. A hole was etched in her soft yellow coat, spilling blood all over the sand. All around her, cats wailed in horror, seeing their old leader go. Moonshine sank her teeth into the pale body, dragging Starfall onto a soft patch of sand. Under her, Starfall whispered,"take care of our tribe, Moonshine. It is yours to lead." and with that, her eyes closed, as if drifting off to an eternal sleep. Moonshine heard wails all around her. "This is a burden I have to take on" she thought. "Cats of Moon tribe!" she yowled. "I know this is a loss for all of us, wild cats from the broken ice tribe are on the run, but we will not give up! Tomorrow, I will appoint my new hunters, who will do their best to hunt for our tribe, and the foragers, who will find herbs and supplies! But for now, get some sleep, my tribe, this is too much of a loss to stay awake throughout the night!". Her voice rang out like thunder, strong and true. All cats raced back into their houses, and the whole tribe was quiet, except for the roar of the storm.
