Soundwave and Hotrod woke up side by side in the courtyard Eoundwave dragged them too. Hotrod stared up at the sky, rubbing his head.

He let out a gentle groan, sitting up against the big bot. "Ow..."

"Hotrod...." Soundwave whispered, the smile in his tone.

Hotrod turned around quickly to see him. His eyes welt with tears of joy and dread. "You dumbass!"

Soundwave laughed and curled his arms around the teary bot. The two held each other in a cold embrace, optics locked on one another as small smiles dripped across their faces.

Soundwave leaned down and kissed him. Hotrod wasn't too surprised, but he kissed back. Soundwave narrowed his eyes on him, licking Hotrod's lips for entry. Hotrod allowed, feeling his slick forked tongue into his mouth.

The two made out for about 6 minutes before they stopped.

"Holy fucking shit! I-..." Hotrod looked up at Soundwave, cupping his face with his servo. "I love you..."

"I do too..." Soundwave said affectionately, resting one servo over his friend's.

Soundwave perked up, antenna unfurling as he picked up a sound wave. He stood up, dragging Hotrod to his feet as well.

The two bots stood as Soundwave tried to pinpoint exactly where the signal came from. He made little grumbling sounds, Hotrod held his servo and watched him.

His optics flashed from their vibrant pink color to green-blue, the color reminded him of some bot he used to know...

Soundwave looked at the state of Primus in the courtyard, optics shimmering.

"Found it."

"It was right here?" Hotrod murmured.

"Mhm."

"That shouldn't have taken long as it did." He sassed.

"Listen, I was just dead for ten something minutes so my sensors are gonna be messy."

Hotrod chuckled and leaned on Soundwave, giving him little kisses on the cheek as he searched for what it was exactly.

"Hm." Soundwave brushed past Hotrod, placing his servo on the base of the statue. His optics lit up as he felt it.

Thousands of feelings of lives swam through his processing units, warriors and peacemakers alike.

All that died from the war, their sparks held true to the land, bathing the inner workings of the world in their afterglow of life beyond. Soundwave felt one speak out to him.

Soundwave... A strong but mild voice whispered into his head.

"I know what I need to do..."

Soundwave lifted his servo, optics glowing a faint green. His wings appeared and swooped in an arch around him like a shield.

"Sparks, I hear your voices."

Windblade flinched, she worked with the others to get everyone out of the collapsing Pavilion that pivoted towards the city below.

Her wings flicked back as she held Shadowstriker's servo and lead her and a few of the seekers out. Clobber was right on their tails.

"Windblade, what is this?" Optimus asked as they ran for it.

"A-A Titan, one of war." Windblade stammered, helping an injured Shadowstriker ahead.

"I thought only you could wake them up?" Megatron snarled from her other side, though cruel in war and nature, his optics welt with the agony of the being of guilt that flooded through each bot on the departure from the Pavilion.
