Between the flurry of activity in preparation for the event, I couldn't help but notice the persistent rain outside, signalling the arrival of winter. As I double checked the details, I realized with a mix of excitement and anxiety that the event will be held in Chicago, Illinois, known for its vibrant city life and rich cultural heritage. Despite the dreary weather, I found myself looking forward to explore the busy streets of Chicago and immersing myself in the unique atmosphere of the city.

"Sarah, have you reach out to the InterCon hotel?" Anna's voice chimed beside me, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Yes I've requested suites for the VVIPs," I replied promptly, my mind already racing through the list of tasks at hand.

"And can I get a suite too?" Dean's voice cut in with a playful chuckle.

I couldn't help but raise my voice in mock indignation, "NOOOOO!" laughter bubbled up among us, momentarily lightening the weight of our responsibilities.

The Big Day has finally arrived! I was about to take off on a journey 2,176 miles away from the office. I couldn't contain my excitement because I was going to meet the President – a dream come true!

"Gerry, I'm so excited!" I said to one of the managers from the office as we made our way to Chicago.

"Haha, me too! You're going to have an amazing time, Sarah. So much to learn!" he replied with a smile.

As we boarded the plane, I noticed Dean is watching me from distance. His gaze felt warm and comforting, stirring something inside me that I couldn't quiet explain. It was as if his eyes held a silent promise of adventure and romance, adding an unexpected twist to our journey.

"So, how was your flight?" Dean's voice broke through the bustling atmosphere as he approached me.

"It was nice, I'm so excited for today. I even told Gerry about it. He told me to learn a lot from this event." I replied with a smile, my heart fluttering at the sight of him. As I busied myself with preparation for the big day tomorrow, I could help but feel a sense of warmth and anticipation building between us, like the calm before a storm of emotions.

After wrapping up all the check-in process for everyone from the office who joined the trip to Chicago, I finally had a moment to myself. As I unpacked my clothes and settled into the fluffy bed, I felt a sense of relaxation wash over me.

Turning on the shower, I let the warm water cascade over my body, melting away the stresses of the long day. Each drop felt like a gentle caress, soothing my tired muscles and bring back my spirit. As I lathered my hair with shampoo, I closed my eyes and savoured the sensation, allowing myself to fully immerse on this moments.
