Mental notes. It's a special effort you make to remember something in your mind. And you had made many mental notes in just the last few days of working with your 3 new colleagues.

Touch, an unspoken message portrayed with a stroke of the fingers or a lingering hand. Touch, an unspoken understanding that can hold such a powerful connection between two people. Touch, such a simple exchange; yet the meaning behind someone's touch can be so complex. Understanding this unspoken language can be quite tough. It comes with more than just observation and awareness. It comes with learned knowledge. Words are only the start of human communication. Their actions? That's where the real conversation is.

So how did you manage to differentiate the difference between friendship or something more from a simple thing such as a single touch? Well, for you, it came from experience—a lot of it.

A casual handshake. A hand on the arm. An upper back pat. He sets the tone for respect, trust and mutual understanding. His gentle gestures support the idea of compassion and encouragement. He makes sure to be courteous and considerate of your personal space and boundaries. Like how his arm will immediately rush above and around you when he's catching the closing door that you hadn't noticed; all the while attentive not to touch any part of you. He is a man who represents a friendly connection. Nanami Kento is a man who, in your eyes, paid homage to the word chivalry; a true gentleman.

A hand on your shoulder. A light tap to your lower or upper thigh. A touch to the knee. A fleeting brush to your hand. A quick tug to your hair as he passes by. A gentle elbow nudge when he stands next to you. And how he guides you in the correct direction with a hand at the small of your back. This man is playful and this man embodies everything that is 'a good time'. His flirty gestures (which held an underlying intention) almost seemed like an invitation for a deeper connection. It definitely reveals Geto Suguru's (not so) subtle interest for something more romantic.

A soft caress to the wrist. A lingering touch on your hand. A hand on the lowest part of your back (dangerously low). A gentle touch to your chin or face. His unwavering gaze while he touches any part of your exposed skin. A hand at your waist or hip as a way for him to say 'excuse me'. His very intentional gestures show his deep attraction towards you. This man, wordlessly beckons you for intimacy. He's forward and daring. Gojo Satoru's burning desire for sexual connection is most evident out of the three.

These nonverbal cues were what gave you clues and helped you understand where you stood with each one of them.

That was a very long spiel for the girl. Your worthless rant about your trivial issues had just ended and now Utahime wears a look of admiration. She nods slowly. How you managed to get two out of the three men at your feet without lifting a damn finger was completely beyond her.

"So, this is something I call—" and you summarize your monologue of personal mental notes, "—The Touch Theory."

Author Note

Hey, everyone!

I really wanted to do this omake before any more chapters so that everyone can pick up on the subtle cues throughout the story. I feel like it may help some people understand Y/N's interactions with the characters more. And it also show cases how their personalities are in this story.

Thanks!
