"Lee Minho!" The said boy groaned as he grabbed the quilt over his head, covering his eyes from the rising sunlight. "teenagers these days.." the woman who called him sighed as she grabbed the bottom hem of the quilt, yanking the quilt off the boy.
Minho rolled over to the other side of the bed as the light hit his eyes. The woman furrowed her eyebrows in annoyance as she climbed on the bed and-
"AH!" The blonde boy fell off the bed as his mother spanked his hips.
"Works every time" his mother grinned widely as she got off the bed, straightening her clothes. "Get ready, we're discussing something with your father. Chop Chop!" His mother clasped her hands together, smiling widely at the latter.
Minho eyed her suspiciously as she fled out of the room. He stood up from the floor, groaning and rubbing his sides in the process.
After he got ready, he went out of his room, heading downstairs. He stopped mid-way as he was greeted by his cat, Dori.
"Are you sure he's ready? I mean- he's only 21!" he heard his mother whisper-yelled from the living room. He scooted closer from the stairs so that he could hear their conversation." It's the only way Jia, plus, this is for his own good" his father replied, rubbing his temples with his thumb and index finger.
"He can't even last a week with a girlfriend! How do you think he would survive getting married!" " He never had a girl-"
" Married?!" Minho gasped, loud enough for his parents to hear. "Minho please, sit down" The said boy slowly went down the stairs and sat down on a chair away from his parents.
"Okay.." with a shaky breath, his mother spoke. "The Han family needs to expand their 'business' so they went to us for help. Apparently your 'great' father right here thought that it would be a good chance for you to have a 'different' life." his mother explained while eyeing her husband. "Fantastic way of saying that i should be out of your lives" minho scoffed, rolling his eyes.
" For the first time you're right."
"Alfredo!"
"Excuse me?!" the blonde gasped, holding his chest dramatically. "What? Besides, you also need someone to clean up after your shits. Last time I remember, you went clubbing and slept outside our door" His father recalled.
"I did not!" Minho protested. "Yes you did. I even have proof from our surveillance cameras." his father retorted, raising an eyebrow at his son to which Minho humph in response. "okay.. umm.. so minho about what I said.." his mother questioned, who has been quiet since the two started bickering. "I.. don't know mother. isn't it a bit too sudden? I mean, did their daughter even agree to this kind of proposal?"
"Bold of you to assume it's a girl." "Can you two stop it already!" Jia yelled, causing the two to stop arguing.
"okay.. so it's a guy? you're not against it?" " we're not your typical 'homophobic' parents, if it's the only way for you to learn to love someone"
" I do know how to love!" Minho argued. "a person, not a cat Minho," his father said, rubbing his forehead. "fine." the blonde stood up from his seat, heading for his room. "Does that mean he approved?" His father shrugged.
