Diego hated to admit it but man was he getting tired. It seems that all those dodging here and then had started to take a toil on Diego's physical capabilities and reflexes, causing him to slow down immensely, and as a result making him much more vulnerable to the woman's attacks. Hmm, come to think of it, he hadn't really found out yet why exactly this woman hated them enough to want them dead at all. So, maybe it would be best if he found out, for any chances that he may be able to talk out the situation instead, providing him with some time to catch his breath. But that was proving to be difficult as it was clear that the woman would not stop with the attacks any time soon. And besides Diego could tell from her 'outer' demeanor that she was not the type to want to talk things out lightly. As Diego tried to keep at it, he couldn't help but wonder whether this woman herself would get tired, or maybe it was just thanks to her 'enhanced ' abilities that she just didn't seem to.*CRACK*
That was the loud sound of the woman's fist as it collided with Diego's rips with great force, even causing him to be 'launched' a good few steps back. Diego with one hand now holding his rips, and the other wiping off the blood from his lips, started to back away. Diego smiled. OK, Good. He had managed to create a situation for himself to be a good distance away from the woman, giving him a slight advantage from his 'expert' knife throwing abilities. Hence, with still one hand holding his now probably broken rips, Diego used his other 'free' right hand to throw one knife after another into the air and towards the woman. And without fail, just as what had happened before, his knives cut through the air swiftly, one of them 'brutally' stabbing the woman in her right side and the other curving through the air and cutting her left foot deeply. This of course caused the woman, to just as before become 'stunned' for a great mere moments, and longer than the previous time. Diego not wasting any time and ignoring the severe pain coming from his rips, landed his blows on the woman and by finishing off by breaking her leg, causing her to fall onto the ground for a brief moment out of pain. Diego also made sure to pick up as many of his knives that he had used earlier from the floor, groaning as he did so. Diego would have honestly 'loved' to continue 'beating the shit ' out of this woman only but the fact that just as she did earlier, she automatically snapped out of her 'daze' returning with her[well technically their] powers once more. Oh well, and it would be a whole cycle over again.
Honestly Diego was still somewhat amazed on how this woman could still fight that well, even with a broken leg, though he guessed almost immediately that it was probably because of her enhanced abilities. But still, Diego couldn't help but notice that she was slower now, and her strength was now although still superhumanly strong was much weaker to before. That was when Diego knew that hurting her in any way was actually in turn weakening her abilities. Diego knew he was on the right track now. At which, all he had to do was to let the whole 'cycle' keep unraveling and wait for another suited opening to strike once again. Despite the odds almost being in his favor, Diego was frankly unsure of how long he himself could keep this up without passing out from his injuries and or blood lost.
==============
Allison and Klaus were still in the room together with the two kids and Luther's now unconscious body leaned against the wall, contemplating in even the slightest way in which they could help Diego, be it directly or indirectly. After much thought they had decided that it would best for them to remain in the room, also assigning themselves the important task of protecting Luther and the two kids while they were at their most vulnerable, to the absolute best of their abilities of course.
Suddenly, a small groan echoed across the room , alerting their attention and causing them to turn in the direction where it had seemingly come from. It was from Claire. She had just started to stir slightly, opening her eyes slowly, still groaning as she tried to make sense of what had happened. Allison limped her way rapidly towards her daughter, collapsing onto her knees at the last moment, and situating herself next to Claire. Claire was straining her eyes, turning her head as she did so in a rather confused matter, as though trying to figure out where she was. Allison placed her two hands on her daughter's shoulders , calling her name softly to attract her attention. Claire automatically fixated her gaze on her mother, happy to see her, especially everything that she had just gone through. Actually, Allison herself was also just as happy to see her, to see that Claire was really OK. They smiled at each other, with tears of joy welling up in their eyes. This 'touching' moment lasted for a good few seconds before something almost immediately occurred to Claire, causing her to look around the room frantically in a worried manner, whilst sounding to be murmuring something to herself.
