"Oh I know you can walk, but I like carrying you.", said Adam. I rolled my eyes causing him to laugh before setting me on my feet and going to his friends that were leaving. Each of his friends gave us hugs and again congratulating us before leaving. After leaving it got quiet in the house as it was just us. Adam turned to me and asked, "You wanna go watch a movie?" I told him, "Sure."
We walked downstairs to our room hand and hand to decide what to watch. We ended up turning on Avatar and a few minutes into the movie I had passed out in his lap. I briefly wake up to him carrying me to the bedb. I turn my head into his chest and he kisses my forehead before laying my into the bed. I smile before falling back into a deep sleep.
The next morning I woke up to Adam's snoring. I quietly get out of bed and go upstairs to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and when I'm done, I come out to get something to eat. I go into the kitchen to find Adam awake. He walks up giving me a quick kiss before telling me, "My mom wants to know if we want to come over for lunch?" I tell him, "That's fine." I proceed to find something to eat before heading back downstairs.
A few hours later we head to his mom's house. Once there he announces that we have some news to share before gently pulling my hand out in front of us to show them the ring. His mom looks at it and then her son before she smiles. She pulls him into a hug before letting him go and telling us congrats.
