Chapter 3

Screams from the upper floors were heard accompanied by the sound of multiple heavy footsteps that only seemed to get closer by the second. At first, no one minded it as they thought it was just a couple of the younger students in the school playing around or doing an activity their teacher had set up, that was until a few of those said students barged into the classroom Rei, Wonyoung and Liz were in. Everyone including the three said girls were confused by the sudden intrusion, what was going on? Why did they just barge into the room like that? And lastly what on earth were they covered in?

"Wait a minute, why do I smell so much blood of off them?" Rei thought as she stared at the group in front of the class, knowing the smell of blood all too well for reasons she really did not want nor need to share. She wasn't necessarily a violent person but there were times when she did get caught in a few fights because of her current "status" with Liz. Their school wasn't exactly the friendliest in the first place especially when it came to same sex stuff, going public only made things kind of worse for the two. Rei really didn't mind though as long as she had Liz by her side, she was happy, Liz was happy to be with her too and that was all that really mattered for them.

"What is the meaning of this?" the teacher asked, demanding an explanation from them as they had rudely interrupted her lecture. The students around started to whisper when they finally took notice of their appearances. They were sweating from head to toe, panting as if they had just completed a marathon, some of them even had fresh wounds scattered around their bodies and blood (from the looks of it) was just splattered all over their uniforms. From the expressions they had on their faces, anyone could tell they were  terrified but the question was, what happened for them to be in their current state? Just what exactly is going on out there?

"I get the feeling that something bad is about to happen and I do not like it one bit" Liz whispered to Wonyoung and Rei as she pulled them both closer, growing more anxious as she watches the scene in front of them, she was sat in between the two girls and this gave her the advantage to bother one or the other whenever she was bored in class right now that served for a different purpose. The students could tell that there was definitely some kind of danger going on out there but at the same time, they didn't want to believe that they were under attack or anythinng, this was South Korea for fucks sake and they currently weren't in war or anything, why would someone attack a school all of a sudden?

"THERE'S NO TIME TO EXPLAIN! WE HAVE TO BARRICADE EVERYTHING AND HIDE! SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE, FIREFIGHTERS ANYONE THAT COULD SAVE US RIGHT NOW!" one of them spoke up as they proceeded to grab the closest thing they could find in an attempt to block the door, the rest of the group tried to do the same but the three girls' classmates immediately stopped them, questioning what on earth did they need to block the door for in the first place, was the danger that bad?

The teacher only clicks her tongue at their persistent behavior, growing more and more annoyed "I don't know what you're trying to do and I honestly do not care, leave before I make you" anyone could tell that the the teacher was losing her patience but the group was too overrun by fear to even care about that right now.

"DON'T YOU SEE THE STATES WE'RE IN?! WE'RE BEING ATTACKED BY MONSTERS OUT THERE AND YOU WANT US TO GO BACK OUT AND FEND FOR OURSELVES LIKE WE DIDN'T JUST DIE?! WE BARELY MADE IT IN HERE ALIVE!"

The teacher sighed, she clearly did not want to deal with any of this at the moment. The woman still thought that this was all some kind of sick joke so she came up to the door, opening it harshly with a loud bang and she left it wide open, not sensing the danger she was putting everyone of her students in "Get out-" she said to them before she felt something grab tightly onto her arm.

She turns around at a sickeningly slow pace, she was beyond mad that someone would just grab her so casually, a scowl was plastered on her face to show the person who grabbed her that she was clearly not amused by this action but she comes face to face with something that she definitely wasn't expecting and it causes her to freeze. She was not expecting to witness something as horrifying but she's too shocked to move it was like she was paralyzed. She only watches in fear as this thing slowly brings its blood-covered face to her arm before she finally lets out a piercing scream as she feels the creature bites into it. Everyone stands up as they witness the gruesome scene in front of them, trying to get away from the creature "GRAB SOMETHING SO YOU CAN TO DEFEND YOURSELVES!" Rei shouts the moment she sees the blood gush off their teachers arm, pulling Liz behind her before she quickly rushes to Wonyoung to do the same in an attempt to protect the two.
