Plans for 2024
Obsidian Launch team - We officially have a launch team of 4 people including me. These are fans of the series who are currently helping me with commissioned images, planning for book 2 release, holding contests, keeping the website running and eventually will be running a discord channel for it in the future. If you're also a fan and interested in helping us create a bigger community for Obsidian, please let me know in the comments or DM. We're always in need of writers, artists, marketers, etc.
Obsidian Discord - As several fans have asked for an Obsidian support group, we're implementing a discord channel for it where news, fanart, fanfics, buddy reads, polls, and discussions will be held. Do subscribe to the website at siennafrost.com for when this becomes available. I'm most excited about a buddy (re)read for book 1 and book 2 and hope to have some fun reading together!
Fan commissioned images - I've always prayed for fanart of these MCs, but I never thought I'd get a professionally drawn fan commissioned images. As of now 7 MCs have been drawn and I'm adding some things to the images as a final touch. These will be used in the hardcover edition of Obsidian:Awakening and its special edition ebook for winners of the Valentines contest. They will also be shown and shared on the website www.siennafrost.com. Do subscribe to be the first to see these amazing images. If you'd like to join these fans who are supporting the series with images and commission one of your own to be shared with fans around the world, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Plans for the Website - A map of Obsidian is being made and is almost finished. We're also hoping to add photographs of what each region looks like and that will be updated once it's done. There will also be a fan art and fanfic section and we're discussing the possibility of a forum at this point. We'll let you know once something new happens through email subscription.
