IN THE BITTING COLD OF NIGHT, dabi sat perched against the windowsill, illuminated only by the faint glow of a cigarette ember. wisps of smoke curl and dance around him, dissipating into the frosty air. with every inhale, the ember burned brighter, casting an soft glow upon his weathered face, revealing the burns etched into his skin, a reminder of what he had lost.
dabi was dressed in a thin cream tank top and light grey sweats. he feigned nonchalance to the relentless cold that seemingly penetrated his bones, instead using it to anchor the raging thoughts to the present moment by the rhythm of his breath and the steady pulse of his heart. in the solitude of the night, he found solace in the cold weather.
with a final exhale, dabi stubs his cigarette out against the ashtray. as he did so, he heard high pitched laughter and the sound of opening a door. getting up, he exits his room and found everyone roaming around the living room and kitchen areas.
"toga," the blonde snaps her eyes to him, stopping her conversation with atsuhiro, "stop signing me up for random shit."

atsuhiro looks between the two in confusion, "wait—dabi—toga what did you—"
