Charlie

I brushed past Vaggie despite her protests. I went out on the main balcony and leaned against the railing. I looked out at my kingdom and let out a deep sigh. I can't spend my time worrying about Vaggie.

"There you are!" Alastor manifested behind me on the balcony and grabbed my shoulders causing me to jump. I let out a startled squeak at his touch. He leaned over my shoulder, "And what, may I ask, is troubling you darling?"

He spun me around to face him, my waist now resting against the railing of the balcony. I bit the inside of my cheek and rubbed my arm sheepishly. "I-it's nothing important..."

Alastor's laugh was laced with radio static. He lifted my chin to look at him, "Nonsense dear! Anything worrying your pretty little head is important!"

Alastor patted my head before standing up straight and folding his arm behind his back. He cocked his head to the side and raised his brow, "So now tell me, what's got you so forlorn this fine day?"

Alastor

I watched Charlie as she shifted her weight and took in a deep breath. She exhaled deeply and looked up at me, the tears in her eyes threatening to fall. "I just feel so... I don't know..."

Her voice trailed off. She looked down at her feet and sniffled. "I just feel like Vaggie doesn't trust me and I don't know what I ever did to deserve this."

I let out a staticky hum, "Hmmmm. Well my dear I don't suppose you did anything in particular."

Charlie slid down the railing as if her legs couldn't hold her up any longer and began sobbing. "I-I-I... I don't understand."

She wiped her tears and looked up at me from the floor, her voice was strained and choked up "What a-are you talking about?"

I leaned down close to her ear and spoke softly so only she could hear me, "Maybe, you aren't the problem darling. Perhaps she is up to something herself? Are you so sure you can trust her?"

She turned to me with anger and pain in her eyes, "Of course I can! We've spent three years of our lives together!"

"And did she not keep things from you during those three years?" I remarked, "I do recall a particularly substantial bit of information that she kept hidden from you."

Charlie looked away from me again and my grin intensified, I continued, my breath on her neck as I whispered into her ear again, "How confident are you in her loyalty and integrity, princess?"

Her breath hitched and I pulled away from her to stand up. I offered her my hand, "Come now, Charlie. You look a terrible mess and you cannot hide from everyone all night."

Charlie placed her delicate hand in mine and got to her feet. I snapped my fingers and fixed her messy hair and clothes. I gently grabbed her face to look her over, she looked good as new except for her sorrowful expression, "Smile my dear, you're never fully dressed without one."

Charlie flashed me a tearful smile and squeezed my hand, "Thanks Al for listening to me, you're such a good friend."

"Of course my dear, any time!" I exclaimed enthusiastically. "Now then! The show must go on! What do you say?"

Charlie breathed in and out slowly, she seemed more relaxed and determined now. "Alright, let's go!"

We went back inside and went our separate ways. I watched as she made her way toward the dining hall until she disappeared around the corner and out of sight. I decided to go to the library to do some reading. As I walked through the hall on my way to the library my ears flicked as I heard Vaggie giggling from a nearby room. I peeked through the doorway, my presence shrouded by the shadows, and listened in. She was on the phone with someone but I couldn't make out who with.

"Ohh, okay hun! I have to go, Charlie could be here any minute, but I'll talk to you soon!" Vaggie's voice sounded almost excited as she bid her caller farewell. "Yeah... I can't wait to see you! Love you too. Buh-bye!"

I stepped away and continued my way to the library. Ohh this WILL. BE. FUN!

Charlie

"DINNER'S READY EVERYONE!" I called out into the lobby for everyone to hear before returning to the dining hall and setting the table with Vaggie and Niffty.

I looked up as I heard everyone entering the dining room. Angel and Husk sat down at the table with their drinks from the bar. Niffty zipped around and brought food out until she jumped into the seat on the other side of Husk. I took a seat across from Husk and Alastor strolled in and settled himself down beside me as Vaggie brought out a basket of bread and set it on the table.

"Thanks, Vaggie! It looks and smells fantastic!" I said as she sat down beside me.

"Uhh thanks, I just hope it tastes half as good as it smells." she flashed me a small smile and started making her plate.

Dinner was delightful and it tasted great. Everyone seemed to be in fairly good spirits this afternoon considering how tense the morning was. I let out a sigh of relief and smiled as I sipped some water.

Suddenly Alastor rose from the table and gestured to my plate, "May I?"

I gathered my utensils and my plate and smiled at his kind gesture, "Umm, no thanks! I can take care of my own mess!"

"Very well," he said with a curt nod.

I followed him into the kitchen and we set our dishes in the sink, Niffty dashed in behind us and frantically started scrubbing the dishes repeatedly mumbling, "Nope!"

The others came in one after another and gave Niffty their dishes as well. Husk carried in his and Niffty's plates while Angel and Vaggie brought in their own. Vaggie, Alastor, and I gathered up the dishes dinner was served on and brought them in to Niffty.

"Thank you so much for your help guys!" I smiled and touched both of their shoulders. "You're literally the best!"

Alastor

I glanced over at Charlie's hand on my shoulder and my face twitched, my smile never faltered. I touched Charlie's hand and turned to her, "But of course my dear! Anything your little heart desires!"

Vaggie scoffed at my comment and pecked Charlie on the cheek, " C'mon hun, it's getting late."

I watched as Vaggie took Charlie's hand in hers and led her to the door. Charlie looked back with a smile, "Ohh! Good night Al! Good night Niffty!"

I waited for the sound of their footsteps to fade before I made my way up to my room to continue reading a book I borrowed from the hotel's library. I am no doubt charming and manipulative enough to maintain Charlie's trust, but there is much to be learned if I am going to take full reign of the nine circles of hell. And Charlie is my key to obtaining that power.

I entered my bedroom, removed my coat, and hung it from the coat rack just inside the room. I untied my bowtie and loosened a few buttons on my shirt. I settled into my armchair and flipped through the black leatherbound book, the red and gold markings on the front glimmered in the soft lamplight.

[Women are complex creatures that crave your attention, your affirmations, and your touch. They have multiple erogenous zones, which are areas on the body that you can touch to stimulate pleasure, some of these areas are the: lips, behind the knee, feet, navel, hands, inner thighs, inner wrist, vagina, breasts, inner arms, stomach, ears, scalp, butt, and lower back, to name a few. To stimulate these zones you can touch them lightly or with force, massages are great for this. You are not limited to just your hands! Use whatever you'd like, your penis, mouth, toys, and other stimulants work well too such as hot oils or waxes. Some women prefer to be touched gently, sensually, covered in kisses, and soft touches and squeezes. Others prefer you be rough with them, bite them, scratch them, hold them down or tie them up, slap them, there are endless possibilities...]

A feeling of both perplexion and disgust caused my brow to furrow and a knot formed in my stomach. I could feel my body growing hot with embarrassment and discomfort. I do suppose I may be able to avoid all of this given Charlie does not believe in sexual activities before marriage... I shook my head and shut the book. Enough of that filth.

I removed the rest of my clothing and pulled on a dark wine-colored robe. I turned out the lights and climbed into bed, my mind was humming as I contemplated my plans for more power.
