The Pink Cherry Blossoms

I look up at the pink cherry blossoms bathed in delicate rays of sunlight. They sway softy in the morning breeze as bees clutter around them.

The sky stretches bright and blue over the expanse of morning colors, fluffy white clouds move slowly above me. So beautiful, so fleeting.

I close my eyes, feeling the wind and warm sunlight on my skin. Goosebumps erupt along my arms as I breath in the warm summer air, that smells of flowers and earth.

I hold in the breath tilting my head higher to the sky, letting the sun melt everything. I exhale it all away.

I don't dwell on what tomorrow brings or what has come to pass.
It doesn't matter in this field of fleeting beauty that will soon come to pass.
