Chapter 59: Get Better Soon

Finally a couple of days of being back in Providence, everyone was ready to get checked out and head back home. The hyperbolic healing tube was under renovation due to some errors, so it was out of order. Everyone was receiving treatment by doctors and nurses. Sanzu, having only one arm was asking if he could have a robot arm, some of the technicians were considering it, while Mucho, Ran, and Rindou was yelling at him other wise because they don't want a crazy man like him who specialize in Katanas to have a robot arm.

The chips were removed from Draken, Pah, Baji, Kazutora, and Mikey. Feeling relieved to finally have it taken out. Draken, Kakucho, Izana, and Emma and the other founding members were walking to Mikey's room, he is the only one not able to leave yet. They opened the door and saw Takemichi rubbing Mikey's back while Mikey was laying on his side.

" How is he doing Takemichi?" Mitsuya asked. " The medicine the doctors gave to him, his body is not taking it well. So he feels nauseous." Takemichi explained. They came inside and stood in different parts of the room. " How long does he have to stay here Takemichi? I'm sure he wants to go home." Emma said while rubbing Mikey's head. " Only if his doctor gives him clearance to leave. Minyan is conducting a medicine for him, but as of right now, they are testing different medicines and how his body reacts to them. It's rejecting each one, so I told them to cease the medications, put they are refusing."

" He's getting skinner by the day." Izana murmered, looking at his body and seeing his ribs show, and his arm muscles thinner. " Did he try to eat anything? He seemed fine on the boat. What happened now?" Kazutora mentioned. " Minyan's medicine worked just fine, but I guess some doctors went behind our backs and gave him the others, it's not doing him any good." Takemichi explained angrily.

" They did all of that to him on the island, for entertainment." Pah hissed quietly. " They reaped what they sowed, and they are dead now. All we can do is pray and hope that he gets better." Takemichi stated. Moments went by and the doctor came inside, he looked young and looked new to the agency, a complete rookie. " I came here to check if there were any changes from the last medicine? How is he holding up?" The doctor asked.

" The medicine is not working, it's just making him even more sick. I want you to give him clearance to leave." Takemichi requested firmly. " I am sorry agent Hanagaki, but I just can't clear him yet, there are still some other medicines to test. He might have to stay here a couple of weeks." The doctor explained. Everyone was getting angry at the doctor and wanted to yell in his face, but Takemichi got up and approached the doctor.

" What's your name doctor?" Takemichi asked. " Um... Cameron." Cameron replied nervously. " We'll doctor Cameron, are you giving Manjiro these medications to improve his health, or just to be an experiment because you have a disliking towards him?"Takemichi asked coldly, closing in on his face. Everyone was staring at the two of them, the coldness Takemichi was giving was giving them shivers.

" No! No that's not it at all agent Hanagaki, this is all professional. I want him to get better so that's why we are trying different medicines." The doctor laughed awkwardly with his braces. " You're new to the agency, you wouldn't want to get fired after how long? A couple of months?"

" NO NO! I don't want to get fired I love this job! Please don't inform Madame Carlisle!" The doctor pleaded. " Then release Manjiro right now, and report to your supervisor of the department the results and your behavior, you will deal the consequences of your actions with them."  Takemichi demanded. The doctor quickly grabbed his clipboard and sign the release signature. He immediately left the room while crying. " You really had to make the man cry." Draken smirked.
